This restaurant is excellent! The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. It's a great option for people with allergies as they take them very seriously and will suggest suitable dishes for those with food intolerances.

The food was average, ok for someone who is used to the watered down version of Indian cuisine. Another one of the so called Indian restaurants. Lot of pushy sales to buy drinks. It doesn’t compare with the 2 other local Indian restaurants Veer...Dhara and Amrit, both of which serves genuine Indian cuisine, that too to a very high standard. Ver carta

We stopped off in St Albans on our way to see football; Burnley playing Watford. What a find this restaurant was! The food was excellent. I had a king prawn biriani and my daughter a Chicken Tikka Mossala. The Biriani was the best I have...ever tasted! Very fresh ingredients, generous number of king prawns and a nicely spiced vegetable curry. We had a lovely warm welcome and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I have overlooked this restaurant for too long, passing by without really taking notice. But I finally corrected my mistake! The atmosphere is lovely and well-organized, so you won't feel overwhelmed by servers constantly running past you. The service is exceptional, friendly, genuine, and they offer a wide range of options to cater to everyone's needs. And the best part is, it's affordable! I highly recommend it for families or groups of friends.

I am a huge fan of Indian cuisine and always eager to try new places, but when in my hometown of St. Albans, I always go to The Alban. It has been my favorite for over 10 years. The restaurant itself is cozy and charming, with excellent service from a beautiful, authentic, family-run business. However, it is the food that keeps me coming back. The dishes on the special menu are unique, diverse, and incredibly delicious. The basics are also well-executed, with the naan bread being the best I have ever had.
