Albany - Menú

First time back after lockdown, glad to see quality of food service was as good as ever. Looking forward to another visit.

We were given a gift of an afternoon tea and went with family. The choice of sandwiches and cakes were tasty and the service was first class.

We attended here for an event in January and the staff were attentive and supportive. The venue is well located and easy to access and the prices are reasonable too. The function room is big enough for the events and I would recommend The Albany...for events.

We came for a quick lunchtime visit and were served by Amy and Sipho. Both could not have been nicer! Food, as always, was second to none and service was quick and with a smile. The Albany never fails to impress and is definitely our...favourite place to eat in town

Visited recently and had the fish and chips(large portion not child portion). Food arrived and I had to ask waitress if this was the large portion. Fish was half a haddock fillet,and I got chips. Food was tasty enough,but left the place still...hungry....will not be rushing back I'm afraid.

Myself and my siblings had a party for our parents wedding anniversary on the October. The Albany were fantastic from start to finish and made the evening perfect for us. The venue itself was perfect for our function and the staff were very...friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious and plentiful. A fantastic venue to have a family function.

My husband and I recently had our wedding celebration in The Albany. After a number of delays, we were finally able to go ahead and what an amazing night had by all. The room was perfect, staff were exceptional and a great time was had...by all. Would highly recommend The Albany for any function. They are really supportive with planning and make sure that you have the event you hoped for. Thank you!

First time back to The Albany this year and first most can I say I felt really safe. All the staff are wearing masks, hand gel is encouraged and distance between tables ideal. Track and trace system is in place and with all the COVID...rules, The Albany still maintains a relaxing and comfortable environment. The food is fantastic, varied menu, promptly served and hot,All in all, it’s sound! Can’t wait to come back !

I booked a birthday treat for my daughter and grandson at the Albany because of the great reviews for the Afternoon Tea and the promise of a Vegan- Friendly menu. Two were to have Afternoon Tea and I the would choose from the lunch menu....We started with teas and coffee but were told that there were no alternative milks available. These are on every supermarket shelf! There was I single vegan option on the lunch menu, a peppers and coleslaw wrap with salad. I was informed that there was no vegan coleslaw available so I went ahead with a pepper wrap with salad.
