"Visited for lunch today, I had the €15 fixed menu with a pap pomodoro which was quite horrible followed by rabbit which was OK. Wine wasn’t nice but very nice coffee. My wife started with a vegetarian platter off the a la carte menu which was unexciting and dry, basically mash potato, plain fried aubergine, red cabbage, fresh tomato and bread. She followed this with a rather bland pesto spaghetti. We had two small carafes of wine and two coffees ....overall the most disappointing meal, by far, that we have enjoyed in Tuscany."

Courtesy and availability! Great combination of Covid time needs and simplicity. Great breakfast. Strategic location for both the sea and to visit Volterra, clean and quiet rooms at any time. Really good!

I had heard a lot of good comments about this place from people I know, so I decided to give it a try with my friends. I had a delicious vegan dinner that consisted in appetisers and two main dishes. The best thing was definitely the Pappa al pomodoro, but also the ‘Pici’ and ‘gnocchi with radicchio’ were really good. Lorella was super kind and joyful when serving us. Surely will be back!
