Alex Skyline Plaza - Carta

"Alex on the rooftop terrace of Skyline Plaza has been on my list for a long time. In wonderful weather, I wanted to take advantage of the hour's favor and food via the rooftops of the Frankfurter Europaviertel (the rooftop terrace of the Skyline Plaza is still far below most of the other rooftops of the area, but sounds good. Alex can be reached via the lifts in the middle of the Skyline Plaza (always follow the signs of Dachgarten). At the top you come either through the normal entrance to Alex or through the roof garden and the terrace belonging to the restaurant. The terrace is partly protected with parasols. Normal tables but also deck chairs invite you to stay. The atmosphere has something of club holiday, easy, hip and loud. Seeing and seeing seems to be more important here than eating and drinking. Unfortunately, there is no room left outside and so I go through one of the terrace entrances inside. The facility is here ala Lounge or Bar. In addition to the large counter area there is a lateral, tubular space, as well as a further larger space with normal seating. Although there are many large windows, but the umbrellas of the terrace also darken a large part of the interior. Since I was hungry I made it based on it and made me about my steak and the beer actually delivered shortly afterwards. The steak itself was very well roasted. Medium ordered it came easily medium-minus to the table. On the outside with a pepper mixture and coarse salt it tasted quite neat, but despite very good frying result unfortunately had the one or other somewhat tougher, stretchy place. The size was specified for the Rumpsteak with 200g (Rib-Eye 230g , which felt slightly undershot. There were several grilled, unfortunately only poorly lukewarm and low-salt, Mediterranean vegetables (Zucchini, Aubergine, Paprika , herbal butter, a little shove rocket and 2 small pieces of herbal cababatta . The amount of vegetables and bread was more worthy of a decoration than a supplement to meat, so that the curry sausage stand on the ground floor of the Skyline plaza, he would have had still open than I left, would have made good sales. In order to pay, I had to organize another waiter, because the one who had taken me under his wings had not been seen anymore.
