"For us, this restaurant is the best Greek in the area of great food, great ambience, great location. The restaurant is located directly on the market square, in the beautiful city centre of Sondershausen, near the castle park and the castle complex. The restaurant itself is located on the lower floor almost in the basement and also offers many outdoor seating. The seats outside are all covered with spacious parasols that make sitting very pleasant and cozy. The restaurant is both exterior and interior modern and everything was very clean and appealing. The menu is varied and the prices are absolutely appropriate. The most beautiful we found the salad buffet, which was manageable, but not only (as so often) consists of leaves, cucumbers and tomatoes, but also delicious things like salad of green beans, thick bean salad and herbal salad. It is worth visiting these Greeks alone. The waiting times for food are neither too short nor too long, the waiters are all pleasantly friendly and attentive, without being noticeable. The Corona rules were implemented very well. The waiters wore a mouth nose cover and on the salad buffet it was observed that even the guests go to the buffet with mouth protection and disinfect the hands beforehand. All in all, we felt very comfortable, which obviously wasn't just us. We had a nice evening, with delicious food and definitely like to come back."

"I have visited the “Manin” many times, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for dinner. With this assessment, I would like to pay my respect to the consistently good cuisine. Manin stands for very good creative, traditional, Mediterranean and Italian Trattoria cuisine. The “Manin” is located in a very beautiful historical town villa in the heart of Saint Wendel, right at the castle square. A stylish loft restaurant with industrial character was created here with a lot of expertise and attention to detail. Only fine materials were installed, such as “ Parisian metro tiles, old Italian tiles, oak or antique wallpapers”. The interior architect did good work. From the optimally equipped card we chose salmon fillet at 12,50 € with supplement salad at 3,00 € and Rumpsteak New Zealand) 250g with pepper sauce at 18,00 € with tagliatelle at 3,00 € Rating: the salmon fillet was perfectly nice crispy fried, in cut nice delicate, juicy and aromatic on the tongue. The meat, of unique quality, finely marbled and with beautiful aroma, it was roasted on the point medium, buttery and juicy, by the authentic grill strips and with grilled Kirchtomate and fresh green and red Peperoni slices also appealing visually. Well harmonized is the picantly tasted pepper sauce. There was nothing to complain about, as well as the homemade Tagliatelle, which were served until the evening in a small pan. The ingredients of the dishes are always top in the manin – fresh and of selected good quality. The preparation was handcrafted perfect, the dishes were a professionally presented pale mouse ....class performance. 5 star service Unfortunately the service is not always as good and professional as the kitchen of the house. The staff is often overwhelmed with strong urge. My conclusion: original, creative, traditional and Mediterranean cuisine of high quality in stylish loftambiente ... service not always perfect"

"We were recommended to visit St Wendel as there would be a good selection of places to eat. Good advice. We walked around the pretty and vibrant square early Sunday evening and liked the look of Bruder Jakob. Flawless service, an interesting selection of burgers and salads to choose from. Plenty of seating outside too. We left as four very delighted diners; if you like burgers and are in the area give it a go!"
