Food was beautiful clean plenty of everything .Very friendly staff it is also our regular place to eat .

Delicious evening meal with friendly efficient staff. Worth travelling for on the first day post lockdown.

One of the worst curries we've ever had. Clearly just reheated from frozen with lots of water content. No taste at all. Really poor as you would expect a decent fresh curry for the price. Ver carta

I have been a patron of this fantastic British Indian restaurant since they first opened. The food is always top-notch and the service is exceptional. However, my friends and I have observed a recent increase in prices. This restaurant has been our favorite Indian spot for years, but now we may need to reconsider due to the higher prices.

Just had the best meal ever from Ali Raj and we’ve had some excellent food from them over the years. Obviously this was a takeaway which we picked up this evening. The starters were delicious the onion Bhaji s so crispy and tasty and all the mains were delicious- plentiful so tasty with thick spicy sauces. Thank you guys for a lovely meal.

Disappointed with both the currys we had tonight from this normally excellent restaurant/take away in Llanelli. My wife had lamb, this was tough (normally melts in the mouth) Both curries had a raw uncooked flavour and we're very watery, with no depth of flavour. Ali Raj, We know your busy in these times, but please don't rush to cook the food. People would rather wait a little longer and have a good quality meal. Ver carta

We usually go to a different Indian restaurant, but it was closed so we decided to try Ali Raj for takeaway. One of the first things we noticed was the higher prices compared to our usual spot and other places we've been to. The food itself was very bland and lacked any flavor. Even the naan bread, which usually has a distinct taste, was also lacking in flavor. The biggest issue was that the food was overly watery, to the point where spooning up rice and sauce resulted in a spoonful of water. Overall, it was a disappointing meal for our family of four, as we all felt the same way.

Unfortunately, the Handi Lamb we ordered at this restaurant was quite bland, similar to taking a sip of some red wine that quickly fades away. The sauce was thin and watery. The Chapattis were small in size, lacking flavor, and priced at £2.70 each. In comparison, a Keema Nan was double-skinned with meat and cost around £3.45. The plates were warm but not hot, and the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The Handi dish was brought to us on a burner to keep it warm, but the candle power was insufficient. We ended up paying £34 for two main courses and bread. Unfortunately, we would not return to this restaurant.

As a family we decided to order food on Just Eat so we could have a nice meal watching the rugby at home. We paid for delivery but when food arrived items were missing. I immediately contacted the Ali Raj who said they had no delivery drivers and that I would have to collect the missing items from the restaurant (totally defeating the object of having our food delivered) I told the restaurant that this was not acceptable and the female member of staff offered us a full refund. After a few days still no refund received and after four phone calls I finally managed to speak to the same woman. She now told me that I had to apply to Just Eat for a full refund so I asked why she hadn’t told me thi... Ver carta
