"Wir waren am Wochenende im Waldhaus Hollinger. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt, ist aber von der Hauptstraße her ausgeschildert. Der Gastraum ist hell und gemütlich. An der Seite brannte ein Kaminfeuer. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und durften uns einen Tisch aussuchen. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und haben auch zwischendurch immer mal nachgefragt ob noch alles in Ordnung ist. Die Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert, kurz darauf bekamen wir unseren Gruß aus der Küche , auch auf die Vorspeise mussten wir nicht lange warten, obwohl doch viele Tische besetzt waren. Nachdem wir unsere Vorspeise gegessen hatten, wurden sofort das Geschirr abgeräumt und kurz darauf der Hauptgang serviert. Geschmacklich war die Vorspeise (Scampi-Spieß und Garnelen in Kartoffel Hülle) sehr gut, als Hauptspeise wählten wir die Schlemmerplatte für 2 Personen, der Beilagensalat kam vorneweg und wahr sehr schmackhaft, auf der Platte selbst waren 3 Sorten Gemüse, es gab Pommes und Kroketten dazu, und 3 Sorten Fleisch. Das Gemüse war sehr gut, die Pommes waren schön knusprig und nicht so hell wie in den meisten Lokalen. Die Schnitzel schmeckten gut, das Schweinefilet war sehr zart und saftig, und die Steaks waren der Hammer, absolut auf den Punkt gebraten, Butterzart und mit einer tollen Pfeffersauce. Zusammenfassend gesagt gab es für mich hier absolut nichts zu bemängeln, der Service: freundlich, nett, aufmerksam und flott, das Essen: ausgezeichnet, geschmacklich sowie Qualitativ auf sehr hohem Niveau, das Lokal: hell, gemütlich und sauber. Vor der Tür gibt es noch eine Terrasse, Parkplätze sind vorm Haus vorhanden und im Restaurant sind Hunde erlaubt. "The Wendelinushof is a rewarding destination for guests from nearby and far away, ideal for hikers and especially popular with spa guests at the Bosenberg Clinic, which arrive here about a 20-minute walk over a part of the Tiefenbachweg. The yard kitchen is located in a historic building on the former Paterhof of the Steyler Missionaries. With a lot of taste and attention to detail, the ambience looks very cozy, whether you can sit in the bright, spacious winter garden, in the fireplace room or in the laundry room. In beautiful weather as today you will naturally take place on the terrace or beer garden. You feel good. Service operated today has a young female service, very flott, super friendly; There's nothing you can do. The waiting period for the food was 40 minutes; this is because of my choice of food and I was also made aware of it. Products from Wendelinushof, other suppliers of the region and food from organic farming are processed almost exclusively in the yard kitchen. This consisted of crisp fresh salad leaves with a spicy cream dressing and unfortunately hardly spiced carrots, herbs and cucumber salad. Everything today is good 4 stars for the kitchen and the value for money."
