"the good farm “Bauer’s Stuben” in venningen should spontaneously be our destination on this lukewarm Saturday evening. venningen is reached when you get from something further above the a65 exit edenkoben 14. in venningen in the circularly curved direction old village on the k6 lies after approx. 100m on the left side. parking is possible as we find in front of the place and in the hof when they drive to the right around the building. the gas rooms of bauers sturen divide into five areas: in the courtyard, sun residence of the winter garden, building rooms, slemmerscheune and the summer garden in the rear area. the equipment of the areas ranges from simple and solid but cozy with steel pipe chairs including in-house, over rustic noble in the building room with the vaulted deck, to rustic stylish in slender strauch and lety in summer garden with its padded rattansesseln. a good overview offer here also pictures on the homepage. at our arrival around 20.30h we were greeted in the front part, the farm, friendly by a female service, our question whether the kitchen would still be open and a table free for two people, was answered positiw and left us free table in the fountain. despite the pleasant outside temperatures, we decided on the basis of the obvious weather front for a table in slemmerschnabel. we were served here by a young female service force, which also welcomed us, the cards were enough and let us choose from drinks and food. the day offers e.g. ochsenbäckchen on the tables was not pointed out the order after which we quickly picked up the drinks quickly brought to eat there was a good appetit and also the request for the bill was quite fast. Even if the damm was not of the kind, at the side of the story told about their future plans after the abitur, I would actually be at 4. the short discussion about the wrong wein, became a red lateburgundy, served a lateburgundy rose ended with “they wanted a brighter wine” – “My woman wanted” – “Yes, when they think, then I will discuss them just be able to pass a different” mistake. besides the red late burgunder 0,2l € 3,50 and a white burgundy 0,2l € 3,20 once the flame cake medium with peterschinken, parmesan and rucola € 8,60 and the rumpsteak from Argentinian bark with criminal butter, bratkartoffeln and salat € 19.90 offers the kitchen also cold speisen like sausage cheese or salad. on the map are also carving, black medailles or specialities such as leberknödel, pfälzer bratwurst or saumagen. the individual ingredients that I unfortunately no longer had together with a very light yogurt and pine nuts on the top was good and not the usual standard set with a slapping lookdressing there, therefore very good 3 . my rumpsteak was decorated by a neat size individually on a square dish without need for me balsamicocremedeko, the nicely roasted mid-season, not a huge part, but very good taste, the bratkartoffeln, which were placed in a separate dish, chess, not greasy and reasonable with spiced. because I'm very good at these four. the flame cake fell tonight for the rest of the food. the teig though loose, thin and crispy, but without any kind of narrow cream fraiche coated. some slices of peterschinken and some rucola could no longer save the dry flame cake. at the end a dry and taste-neutral pure fall with a lot of air up, i.e. here only 2 . the turquoise tremor fire for the conclusion instead of a dessert could save nothing in the total result here, more than 3 are not there for the eating. for the environment in the slemmer strauch, in which we sat I like eating 4 . wood tables with bright table cloth, a purple medium the chairs are equipped with a bright seat cushion, the benches also offer a pleasant seating with a bright leather cushion in the sitting and back area. brightly plastered walls change with sand? stone walls, decorative objects adapt harmoniously here. the local act both inside and outside as well as the toilets clean and well maintained what they expect, good 4 would be here if possible appropriate. two main dishes with drinks for 38,70 euro should have a value of 4 in the plv for two people. because the flame cakes fall off, despite the environments, I still have to see 3 times what the next visit with other food selection is because bauers sturbs sturdy can already please them."

"Sehr modern sieht es aus. Viel Glas, ein hoher Raum. Man muss sich erst gewöhnen. Trotzdem strahlt das Ambiente eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit aus. Gediegen. Modern. Mit dem PKW kann man direkt hinter dem Hotel/Restaurant auch bequem parken. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und flink.Wir essen Rindfleisch in Meerrettich. Eine nicht ganz so große Portion zu relativ kleinem Preis. Das Fleisch zart und fein, die Soße sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet. Und das Rumpsteak mit 300 g. Scharf angebraten mit in Dornfelder geschmorter Zwiebel. Geschmacklich sehr lecker, leider ist das Steak etwas fest. Weine aus der Region zu korrekten Preisen. Auch die Flaschenpreise sind ok. Insgesamt alles ok und wohl schmeckend. Gerne wieder."

"Durch Zufall hier mit hungrigem Magen gelandet. Eigentlich wollten wir zu einem anderen Restaurant, jedoch fanden wir dort keinen Parkplatz und haben einfach weitergesucht und sind dann hier "glücklich" gelandet. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, als hätten sie nur auf uns gewartet. Wir bekamen bei schönen Sonnenschein einen Tisch auf der Terrasse, hätten jedoch auch einen Tisch im Garten am Koiteich bekommen. Selten wurde man so gut empfangen. Die Karte ist klein, aber fein. Hier findet jeder etwas passendes zu Essen. Auch Getränketechnisch wurden wir gut beraten und das nicht nur beim Wein. Da merkt man mit wie viel Liebe hier betreut wird. Da nimmt man auch gerne mal ein Tröpfchen mit. Der Getränketipp war eine Wucht!"

"Here you can eat cosy specialties from the Palatinate cuisine and a tasty swamp of local winzers. the squirrel prices are well-calculated and move between 2.90 euro for Müller-Thurgau or kerner up to 4.9 euro for the excellent sauvignon blanc by gerhard hauck. all wee are from maikammerer winzer what I find very sympathetic. to eat there are saumagen, leberknödel, bratwurst, sausage salad or flamecake to fair trips. we always like to get back here when we are in maikammer. in the case of a flame cake we recommend the basic version, the flame cake with more is covered by the cheese slightly very powerful."

"our beautiful departure to the pfalz ended in the village chronicle.The wee was delicious, the food expensive and very small, the quality not particularly good (salted).The card was not very extensive, noodle dishes, classic like table lace and there was T-bone steak (the small 88 €!!!)... that was unfortunately in no relation to the location and art of the place.Our portion was as small as one can imagine a appetizer in an upscale restaurant.A cleck of carafe bread in the size of a teaspoon, hardly any supplement...This was therefore lukewarm, the minimalist amount due to. the arrogant wetin prescribed us a short hour incl. Order/Essen/Bezahl!!!From the Palatinate gas efficiency - no trace.The abient quite nice, the facility cozy. the tables covered, table linen etc. - all in a very okay. Something silly we found the colorful water glasses, it looked like a childbirth for the very small. someone had implemented a very strange idea.Very, very bad. maikammer - always happy, but village-chronic - in no case."
