hallo to the people who reads my review in this restaurant, the service outside we stand here 3 times on or stay in forest hat- tiengen eating is exelant we will go defantley to this place again

We have visited twice this place and can recommend it. The staff is fast, communicates well. The food is nice and reasonably priced. The pizza is great and can recommend the ice cream with hit cherry sauce.

This ideally located place in the midst of the shopping are of Waldshut offers a wide range of dishes. Focus is on Italian food (incl. Pizza). service is nice and helpful and the food as such o.k. to good and reasonable price tag. We were not so happy with this restaurant: the pizza was ok, but the meat portion was small. The service was quick and unfriendly. Sitting outside in the Keiserstrasse meant for us to smell the sigarettes of the neighbouring tables all time: bleah! For what...we got, I think the prices were too high! Only the location very central is appealing.

The Alte post is an average tavern servicing German food, Italian pizza and pasta. It is located on the main market square of Waldshut towards the middle. During the summer they have outdoor seating in the courtyard. The interior feels some what outdated. The service...is below average. We tried the pork with mushsrooms, the Prosciutto pizza and the di Parma pizza. The Prosciutto was the most tasty one.

The terrace itself is the only argument of this restaurant. The pizzas took ages to be prepared, were over-crusty (let's say it nicely), and it took also a lot of time as well to do the payment. I think it's mainly a trap for Swiss...shoppers going to Waldhut for a day, passing by in the main street and wanting spontaneously a pizza for an un-Swiss price (9-9.5 We did have a clear feeling that it was not worth it and that we wished we had chosen another restaurant. Wir haben vier Pizzas bestellt. Die Wartezeit war angesichts der Anzahl Gäste erträglich. Die Kellner sprechen wenig oder schlecht deutsch. Essen: himmeltraurig, was heute als Pizza durchgeht. Keine richtige Tomatensauce, kein richtiger Käse drauf, Teig teilweise roh. Null Liebe, null Können. Mein Tipp: Vermeidet Pizzas in diesem Restaurant. Alles in Allem: Die viel zu gute Lage mit fast geschenkten Kunden führt zu Nachlässigkeit. Zu anderen Gerichten kann ich nichts sagen. Ich gehe davon aus, dass es ebenfalls von gleicher Qualität sein wird. Ist aber nur meine Vermutung.

I've been there with my family and I can't say I'm disappointed. We've had a very good pizza and we've been served very quickly despite the restaurant was completely full. Prices are more than fair for the quality. Unfortunately the service has been very unfriendly...and unprofessional for the entire lunch, plus we were missing a fork and we had to ask twice for it, and when we finally receive it, the waitress was annoyed instead of apologizing. We will give it another try and hope to find a proper service, because anything else, including the properly oldish atmosphere, worths 5 stars.

as an Australian, I was quite appalled to see kangaro on the menu. if there were other possibilities, I would not have eaten here on the captain, but it was the Easter weekend and it was hard to eat somewhere. I contradict kangaro. meat as they are shot in the wild with little consideration for animal welfare, especially for the joeys (babies) who have swept their skull, or they will starve. it is an unanimity meat due to the natural filling of parasites and is also exposed to the elements hanging from the back of a lkw. Kangaroo shoot is the natural mafia dynamics of these sensitive, social animals and is unlikely to be sustainable. it is also very offensive for indigenous Australians, for... Ver carta
