as always excellent! we always like to come and enjoy the excellent food and service.

we were there for geese eating! this year has become really very expensive, but the quality of the food was top!

Fish is good and price are fair. Obviously we talk about fish restaurant in Germany but nevertheless it is worth the price. Staff are kind and they can guide you through the menu. both location and inside are definitely okay and make you feel home. Ver carta

Sat outside for dinner and enjoyed dinner with a local friend and enjoyed the great view of the Rhine meadows and the barges going by on the Rhine.The food was excellent (Filet 24 Euros)The staff could be a little more welcoming & friendlier in my opinion.

we felt comfortable. the service was very friendly. I recommend the rheinzander. I was a bit disappointed by the wild herb salad... I missed the wild herbs. my well-known had the luck to order a little bite. that was really good. a proud price, however, in today's times certainly not feasible otherwise. overall we liked it well.

We came here for goose on the 1/11 which is apparently the first day of goose being served at this restaurant. Goose was cooked to perfection and it was a good portion, so, you would definitely be full after this meal.The only annoying thing was there were several flies at our table even though it's indoor and the weather wasn't hot. Not on the beaten path - unless you are traveling on the Rhine. You can combine a visit here with a stroll along the river - watch the working boats go by. Inside is white table cloths and great fish. Waiter recommended the mixed fish plate - it was excellent. A colleague had the shrimp starter - it looked great and tasted same. Main dishes are in the 25 euro range, but you'll want a starter too - another 10-15. Worth it though. They have outdoor seating - but too cold when I was there. Service also very good - just the right amount of attention.

Restaurant is located on the banks of the Rhine River, not far from the Benrath Palace, in case you wish to spend a day riding bicycle and combine it with delicious, romantic dinner. The restaurant is decorated resembling its fishery background (as the name suggests). We had goat cheese wrapped in puff pastry with orange coulis for starters, fishes for main (Dorade, Sole), and tankabean creme broule with rose bud sorbet and fresh fruits. All were fantastic! The fish was fresh, not frozen, something extraordinary for Dusseldorf. We were lucky with the weather as had it rained, we would not have found an empty table inside. Reservation recommended!

We had an excellent meal last week. Fortunate with the weather, we had a great view of the setting sun over the Rhine, which was finished off with a fantastic meal.We were served foccacia as an apperatif, started with salad and prawn bruscchetta, which was superb and then had an assortment of fish dishes, all of which were excellent. One of us had the duck - a very good choice. The choice of wine is remarkable - we had a white suggested by the waiter and a rosé suggested on the menu - both superb. Markus, the chef and owner is to be congratulated on producing an excellent meal at reasonable prices in a tastefully decorated restaurant.
