Am Food Lounge Berlin

The food was tasty. Service was ok. But they don't accept cards unless the total amount on the bill is over 40 euros, so we had to look for an atm, luckily it was nearby. Also for some reason the waitress mentioned that tips were not included in the bill..

Very bad experience with the bad attitude of the waiter and the disgusting food. They served me with a dish that i didn't order before and be rude to me!!! If anyone want to taste the German food, go other restaurant. The worst food that i taste at here. Look good but the taste.... U can't imagine...

The restaurant is now called Bayerische Spreestuben. I DO NOT recommend this place. Not only is the food overpriced and mediocre, but the staff is also rude. I had an American Express card on me, and instead of politely stating that they don 't accept AmEx, he threw my card at me and yelled, We don 't take this card.

good German kitchen restaurant with decent furnishings and good service. to be honest, I read the negative reviews before I visited the restaurant and judged it based on them, but I don't have any of the verified problems. the meat was great, no problem with the service or the bill, salate and suppen were the best I ate at my 3 day visit in berlin. I would recommend it.

Nice little place with plenty of outdoor seating however it’s covered by a glass roof so even if raining you can sit outside which is nice. Staff was really nice and let us have a look at the menu before seating down, service was fast and the food taste great my only issue was I felt the portions were a little small but that aside the food was great. Be sure try this place out if your about.

Dreadful excuse of a meal. I had chicken schnitzel with potatoes and salad. The chicken was a ready made frozen from the supermarket. The potatoes were not fresh/ cooked well. The salad was dry AF. This business is only surviving as a tourist trap as it claims to have authentic German food. The waiter asked for a tip after providing no service at all, ballsy move I'll give him that but no thanks champ.

“Great German food” was all I wanted to do was eat German food when I arrived in berlin, we had lucky enough of a young man who assured us that she served authentic German foods, he was right that the sausage was fantastic and the beer was really good, the waiting staff was very helpful and since they noticed that I had no warning, everything I did was to tell them, everything I did. really good food and great beer.

Ummm mixed three of our 4 meals were great. The waitress was pleasant. However when the €20.00 streak turned up over cooked and no one came and asked if all was alright and then we spoke to the waitress who said she couldn’t do anything, the. Go the manager who tried to tell us his fillet steak was lumpy and therefore cooked unevenly. What a joke! So I would say Aviod there are better places. And the other comments about the tip are true too.

the menu is expensive. I don't know if I have eaten authentic German cuisine, as it is not a kitchen I know so much, except the classic sausage street food snacks that they can also find in many corners of berlin, but I really liked what I have eaten. as already said, it was expensive and eating was not something special, but I enjoyed it. speaking about the service, we were served by the Asian waiter, who was very polite and who also looked after everything was okay. we are really satisfied, only for the treatment with us. Actually, I would have given this place a maximum of 3 stars (for the prices in comparison to what we have eaten), but only because of the waiter service I give 4 stars....
