"Quite enjoyed the food but it was no different to the majority of Indian restaurants...however when it came to service there was a lot left to be desired. We found the manager was bordering on abrasive and the servers where reaching in to clear the tables whilst managing to bump into customers...I managed to be bumped on both sides and actually had rice flicked onto me at one point! I would suggest a bit of training wouldn't go amiss. When I questioned the shortfall in my pint of beer, I was told that it had come out of a bottle and was therefore not a pint...John Smiths? Bottled? No it isn't! If it was actually a can...they charged about £4 for it! Having said that, the premises where very nice as was the food prices."

Over charged for drinks, drinks on receipt that we hadn't ordered. My food was very bland and they were cramming people in to get the cash. Check your bills guys

with my family for our sons 18th birthday meal and everything from decor to eating to service was fantastic. definatly recommend to all, including the small, as supplied with high chair and child portions. x

Visited with friends for the first time on Saturday, the food was delicious and the service was excellent, the manager was friendly and took time to chat to us and check that we were happy with everything. We will be back! Ver carta

The service was excellent at this restaurant. It was very busy and noisy, but the staff and food were outstanding. We even received a discount due to the noise level. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

I love this place where I wouldn't eat or take away an Indian now! the personal is so friendly and eating is amazing even fulfilling my diet requirements when I let them know in advance! I never had a bad meal eating and service is amazing amans newton high street!

We popped in on a Saturday night on the off chance we could get a table. They were really busy, but the manager said he didn't like turning people away, so if we only wanted mains he could fit us in though he'd need the table in 40 minutes. The service was quick without being rushed and the food was fantastic. A great experience.

ordered a takeaway. ordered 2 creamy dishes and 2 totally different tomato based dishes and the tomato ones tasted and looked the same although one was a chilli masala and one was a balti rogan ! for an actual restaurant charging big prices this was no better than a cheap delivery. we were actually going to on our anniversary to sit in but won’t be bothering now. I’m a keen cook and make all my curries from fresh so i know what i’m talking about with flavours so no excuse just pure laziness in my eyes
