"This restaurant has a very informative homepage! The pictures and descriptions of the food very appealing. Vietnamese and Thai dishes and sushi are offered here. At noon very cheap offers, but also the prices for evening are still ok. When I read that a lot of value is placed on fresh ingredients and preparation, that sounds promising in any case. The images from the local area also made me positive. I chose the place to eat there with a group of 8 people. But I'd rather go to the number safe and wanted to make a small pre-test today. When I stood in front of the place, I remembered that I've been here a few times when it was the Mistura Tropicana. I had this from the ambience and the temperatures but not so good memories. It has changed visually but very positively. Much dark wood and also dark tables, chairs and benches. The walls in a beautiful cream yellow. In front of the windows the green curtains are a beautiful color pick. As usual in more and more restaurant 's, the bar is illuminated indirectly with LED, here in a green. My accompaniment didn't find it too good, but I did. Only disturbing for me was a bright, bright metal tree in the entrance area. I don't think it's the rest of the place. LEIDER was very cool. The oven was probably turned on quite late. It became a bit warmer during the evening. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend a cardigan here. The tables are very nicely covered and there are small floral decorations and tea lights. But they only burn at the tables that are occupied and that was only our table at 6:00. At about 10 a.m. there was another couple, otherwise the place remained empty. The service was super friendly and super attentive and yet with restraint. At dinner I did not discover my beloved Bo La Lot on the map, a pity! So my choice fell on baked Wantan (3,90€) that are made themselves. They were already at the table. That really went very hard. But they were really made themselves. The filling is quite captive/compact (I lack the appropriate word to describe it better, but well tasted. They were very crispy. Sweet Chili Sauce also tasted good. We didn't have to wait long for the main courts. Once roasted rice ribbon noodles with chicken (10,50€ and once red curry with tofu and vegetables (9,50€ . Great that they are placed in bowls on a small tree, so the dishes are warm longer. The dishes were served in beautiful bowls. Only the parsley as decoration is already very retro; taste also very good. Vegetables had a slight bite. Beverage prices: 0.4l water for 2.50€, soft drinks/choices 0.4l for 3,50€ and wine 0.2l for 4,00€. And unfortunately again here the beer is cheaper than a soft drink: 0.5l for 3.50€. Our desire for separate invoices was met without any problems and we were offered an espresso or schnapps etc. Here we liked to pamper with a plum wine. There are still a few small comments: Sushi is not available for the next 14 days (Sushimeister has vacation we only experienced on request, I would have liked to know as an info if the menu is handed over toilets are in the basement, so not disabled. However clean, although very 70s The customer parking places are not freed from snow (request: obviously the evaluation was read, because at the 2nd. Visit was the snow cleared A few words to the 2nd visit with 8 people: The place was not overly crowded again, but there was a birthday party in the basement that had only made karaoke and from 20/20.30 we went up to the restaurant for dinner, but we had just been in the break. Service very nice and friendly. Beverages and food were often served only from one side and we guests should then pass on, we all found a little disturbing. Better 4 guests from one side and the other 4 then from the other side. There was Krupuk. Afterwards we still have mango with a mixture of salt, garlic, chili and shrimp powder get VERY sharp, interesting and tasty. In addition, candied ginger (also delicious . All ordered dishes have been good and very good! Only the fact that Pangasius was panned in the Rotcurry was not so beneficial. Because he was covered with redcurry, the panade was very soft and gly. Either I got to serve it separately from each other or better: use Pangasius nature. In the menu there was no indication of panade. Portions all very big! Service and food have definitely convinced me and I also like the ambience. (Okay, except on the flashing LED tree."

"We had the satay, spring rolls, roti canai, char kway teow and beef kerisik which were 90% similar in taste to what you would get in Malaysia - perfect for people who have never been to Malaysia! However, having been to similar restaurants in New York (Nyonya) and London (Rasa Sayang, Satay House Malaysian restaurant), I find the prices at Champor very overpriced (e.g. 24€ for "char kway teow", a type of flat broad noodles, and 14€ for 5 satay sticks). We were also charged extra for the "curry dip" which came with the roti canai, which was not made known to us when we ordered a piece of the flatbread. With 2 and a half starters, 2 mains and 3 non-alcoholic drinks, our total bill came up to 100€ for 2 people. Ambience was classy (though it doesn't reflect the true Malaysian food experience) and hospitality was great, but only if you love every single aspect of the dining experience. We overheard the hostess shouting, "If they can't wait, they should leave", presumably because of a customer's complaint about the long waiting time for the food. Not sure about the tone and attitude of the customer's complaint in the first place but am certain this response does not make things better. I loved the food but upon jokingly lamenting that there were no cockles in the fried noodles (which is a key ingredient in char kway teow but I did realise that it may be difficult to get the ingredient in Munich), the hostess first said that she disliked the shellfish before adding that one gets hepatitis from eating it (fact: only if the shellfish is not cleaned and cooked properly will one run the risk of viral infection from eating shellfish). A simple "we don't like this shellfish and hence we don't add it in our food" and a smile would have suffice. We wanted to order dessert after we finished our main courses but were told that the kitchen was closed though we had not been informed about the kitchen closing / placing last orders. Having seen the Management's reaction to customers' feedback in the restaurant and responses to other reviews, I know that any less-than-positive review will surely earn a scathing response from their Management. I would however like to mention that if you have never been to Southeast Asia and/or never will, this is a nice restaurant to splurge on authentic Malaysian food."
