"this is a very beautiful Italian restaurant and market. they have an salatable, which is calculated in 100 grammar steps. there is a theke in cafeteria style with daily dishes. I had a white fish in dill sauce that was wonderful. the man behind the counter prepared my spaouse fried laughs and it was also very good. they also have a separate theke where they prepare pizza in a stone oven. we went back a second day and got a pizza. they should be pizzen in individual size, but they have a diameter of about 14 inches and we shared one. it cost less than 9 euro and it was very good."

an Italian self-service shop that serves food from medium to low quality at a high price. good as dry stop at hamburger regenschauern.

Today I was the first time in the andronaco. the arrabiata was quite tasty, however much too little and for 5,90 € really too expensive. pitythe flair is kind of like kantine. too bad.

I can only report good about the pizza. non-smoky and with beautiful wood stove browning. fresh and good ingredients, really delicious. only the service is too slow in the rush time, a second cashier would be better. Ver carta

the concept is known: a little vapiano, a little kantine. the local is nicely furnished, outdoor seating are available. the pizza was not crispy, but much too soft. for the quality the pizza was too expensive. tipp: if SB pizza, then go to vapiano!

good idea to use the old la baracca so perfectly new, compliment family andronaco! great idea of self-service, simple pasta, very tasty (and cheap) antipasto - super! neat drink selection with very fair trips. if it should be fast and tasty, surely go!

there is nothing like an authority canteen 30 years ago. noisy, uncomfortable and more a warehouse than a restaurant. The personal effort, but overwhelmed. The pizza is an insult for every italian - the floor lazy like a rubber sole..... but we will not go back here again Ver carta

Since I regularly buy at andronaco in köln, the visit in hamburg was a must. Here, the focus is essentially on the preparation of various dishes at reasonable prices. The selection in the connected super market is significantly smaller than in Cologne.Am coffee machine a friendly barissta that makes a super espresso and rejoices over every word spoken by Italian.

were in the juli again there for the andronaco wine lounge - great to see that they offer other pizzas than in the juni. it would be great / better to have a wine tasting area in which they can taste some of the wee (in small portions) before they try them in the glass / in the bottle. prices for eating are in order - the wee is quite expensive for a theme night like this.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
