"Andy’s has something that needs to be fed for the little starving and for that quite well. I like the burgers that taste right after meat and fresh sweet and burger stick, not so fast foodchainburger (although I would like to eat them naturally). there are various big burgers and those with huh. I find myself really good because I don't make a big one, and lust on the hamburger meat that they don't always have, but with that huh it's not that hard to do. the pommes is always delicious, well spiced. my favorites are the hot dogs every time, I could eat them all the time. but I think the burgers are generally more interesting, and on desserts of pancakes there is something I like to order. the typical American drinks they get, I usually only drink canada dry, but the sorts are already wider than that. I like to order something else, but at Andy’s I became more common. not because everything else does not taste, but because everything tastes good and you can never decide and just eat as delicious as last time. one of my favorite restaurants! go to every place."

Für eine schnelles Mittagessen war ich im Andy´s eingekehrt. Es war wie immer, Essen und Service ausgezeichnet und schnell.

Ansprechendes Ambiente, helles und großzügig gestaltetes Restaurant. Wir waren dort zum Mittag, entweder hatte die Bedienung einen schlechten Tag oder einfach wenig Bock. Auf das Essen haben wir ziemlich lange gewartet. War dann aber in Ordnung. Große Portionen, geschmacklich ok, nicht ganz warm. Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.

I am an american who lived in Germany for two years. Although I loved the German culture and food, I often missed some simple american french fries, or burgers, or root beer. Andy's was a super fun trip to America without leaving Germany. I will for some reason never forget the picture they have of James Dean on the wall. I would highly recommend a stop here.

Immer, wenn ich in Weimar bin, steht der Besuch bei Andy's auf meiner ToDo-Liste. Burger gibt's in 3 Grössen, mit oder ohne Pommes, da ist für jeden Hunger was passendes dabei. Das Restaurant ist im Stil eines amerikanischen Diners der 60er gehalten, und passt somit prima zum servierten Essen. Heute war nicht viel los, die freundliche Dame vom Service hat das Essen nur wenige Minuten nach der Bestellung gebracht.

We stayed in Weimar (my children and myself) for over a week. We had such a hard time finding good food at an affordable price. (My son has a gluten allergy, or we could have eaten at the vast amounts of pizza places in Weimar.) Andy's was close to our hotel and the service staff was nice, and tried to be helpful despite their limited english and my limited german:) and the food was great. (Caution...there's no english menu :) The pork steak meals were the best! I would definitely eat there again!

Ansich kann man beim Andys recht gute Burger essen, aber man sollte bei Burger bleiben. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit da , die Kellnerin war mehr als nur schlecht gelaunt und vermittelte uns als Gästen das Gefühl es sei unsere Schuld. Wir bestellten jeweils Pancakes und etwas herzhaftes. Die Pancakes waren trocken, der Speck auf den Spiegeleiern fettig und labrig, das Curry war nach Fleischqualität, Aussehen und Geschmack zu urteilen aus der Packung und das Schnitzel lie los auf den Teller geknallt. Wenn man einfach und billig essen will ist es ok, aber ist gibt in jeder Hinsicht bessere Restaurants mit gemütlicherem Ambiente.

Da ich ein American Diner Fan bin und mich auf einer Schulung in Weimar befand, besuchte ich Andy's, um dort zu Abend zu essen. Die Einrichtung und Speisekarte waren tatsächlich in einem amerikanischen Stil gehalten. Sehr gut! Das Essen war ganz in Ordnung, aber leider nicht so, wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Der Burger schmeckte wie zuhause selbst gemacht. Per se also nicht schlecht, aber für ein Essen aus der Gastronomie doch nicht gut genug. Auch die Aufmachung hätte liebevoller gestaltet werden können, wie zum Beispiel Ketchup und Majo separat, Pommes in einem Körbchen servieren und/oder zum Burger eine kleine Salatbeigabe dazu. Wenn man gut und günstig eine sehr reichhaltige Portion essen möchte is dies eine super Möglichkeit dies zu tun. Geschmacklich dem Preis Niveau angepasst (was absolut nicht negative verstanden werden darf) kann man durchaus zufrieden und richtig satt vom Hof gehen. Die angebotenen Menüs machen einem gerade im Bereich Burger die Entscheidung recht leicht und man kann auf langes in die Karte schauen und suchen verzichten. Auch das Personal ist im Grunde immer sehr freundlich. Teils wirkt es ein wenig überfordert ist aber immer mit einem Lächeln bemüht alles in Ordnung zu halten. Wobei es auch hier eine Ausnahme gibt.
