A nice authentic Thai restaurant with some unusual dishes on the menu. If you’re in Lyndhurst and want a no nonsense dining experience I’d highly recommend.

Lovely traditional Thai food rather than tourist/western interpretation. The chef will adjust your food to suit your tastes and, where possible, will make a vegan or gluten free version. Ver carta

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with some unique dishes not typically found at other Thai restaurants. The service is fast and efficient, and the fact that the phone is constantly ringing for takeout orders is a positive indication of the food's popularity. Can't wait to visit again soon!

We absolutely adore Anissa's Thai having spent many months in Thailand over the years this is hands down the best Thai food outside of Thailand. I dined at this restaurant tonight. I enjoyed the Green Thai curry and Massaman curry, as well as Thai fishcakes and sour sausage. All the dishes were delicious. The service was also very fast. The total price for two starters, two mains, and three beers was 70, which I found to be quite reasonable. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were tasty.

We spontaneously booked this just because it had high reviews. I’m surprised that this place wasn’t fully booked, we were absolutely blown away: great service and the food is incredible. We ordered this Thai sausage thing, a Tom Yum soup, which was humongous, a lamb shank massamun, and a fish prad kow. Whoever’s out back cooking really knows what they’re doing. Easily one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten in.

We've been eating here since it opened and enjoyed takeaways through Covid. The owner is a likeable chap and I remember discussing the origin of the restaurant as a truly authentic dining experience with dishes direct from his home village cooked by Auntie on our first visit. A simple menu delivered what it promised. On our latest visit, the menu had changed to become a bit more mainstream and the furniture has gone from eclectic to uniform. I'm not saying the food's not good (it's great), but much has transformed the humble eatery. It's a nice place and I hope it continues to do well somehow I miss the limited menu...
