"I was here with my partner on Sunday night. We were ready for a few tricks and instead we found exactly what we were looking for: a cobble tavern where we could appreciate the real Venetian cuisine, without too many frills. There are no precooked foods, and this is not at all discounted in Venice. We took some spaghetti with cuttlefish, very good, and the mixed fry: excellent and abundant! The owners are friendly and attentive to customers."

One of the better side salads we've had in Italy very fresh ingredients. The fish was a bit mushy though. The location is fine with outdoor seating on a quieter side street.

we ate very well, the place is cozy and warm, the service is fast, the owners are kind and helpful. we did not pay much in comparison to the prices we found in Venice these days of vacation. recommended recommended

finding a good trattoria in a city as a tourist as a Venetian is generally an enterprise, meeting us in the ancient ardesia tavern was a surprise. friendly and kind service, great food at adequate prices (one thing not to underestimate recommended dumplings to duck ragù, we will definitely come back!

the service was efficient and knowledgeable. we ordered both the seafood pasta and it was fresh, full of seafood and delicious. they had fled from many articles, but I guess it means that they only buy enough seafood for the day and when it runs out, it runs out. so they usually get fresh seafood. tap them if they want to crawl, make sure they can prepare them 24 hours so they can pick it up on the market.
