"Our group of nine was lucky enough to reserve the private room at Da Taparo when we were in town. The service and the meal was absolutely splendid. We had a three course lunch... risotto, pork loin in pastry and tiramasu. All three were excellent and worthy of a return visit. The service wasn't rushed and the staff were gracious and friendly. The setting itself was beautiful as well. Tough to find anything to to knock this place on and lots to compliment them on."

very nice location, delicious dishes and presented very well. great service and very kind. returned for the second time and ordered mixed with crustaceans and fried fish. Unfortunately, shrimps, scampi and mazzancolle were not cleaned of the intestinal wire. disappointment.

We were informed about this restaurant by our hotel manager. it is hidden in the spectacular landscape of the Eugenian hills. the food was tasty, obviously authentic, not expensive and good prepared. There were, however, predominantly tourists, just 2 Italian couples were eating dinner. a very old Wisteria on the entrance, makes the impression of this nice restaurant complete. Good service, no WiFi however..

The outside seating area is a vast area that is protected from the sun by a blanket of Wisteria. If you go, then try to go in late spring when the purple flowers must look absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the food. This is a typical Italian trattoria, but the cooking is really not up to much, though the friendly service goes some way to make up for this. It is lovely to sit out and the gardens look very well kept.
