"The food was good, but the menu was a little shaky at times. My wife is vegetarian and ordered a pizza which was listed as tomatoes sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, artichokes . When it arrived it also had cooked ham (which, on examination, was listed in the Italian ingredients. They sorted it out quickly though, and brought us another pizza without the ham. On a separate occasion, I ordered a horse steak, and it came with (unlisted polenta if I had known, I wouldn 't have bothered with the side order of chips. Service was a bit frazzled when we were there, but we were there during the Floating Piers at Lago Iseo, and they were clearly very busy. In a more normal situation I think things would be better."

A short walk uphill from the village is this hotel restaurant which served excellent food for a very decent price. The waitress spoke good English and was very service minded. The beef tagliata was perfectly cooked and very tender can be recommended.

It was a great experience to stay at Hotel Conca Verde and have dinner almost all nights. We got so many of Italian food specialties and it was so much that we could not finish all the dishes : The pizzas were so delicious and the staff is lovely at this family run place :
