Has a lovely cosy atmosphere. Food and service are both good. We really enjoyed our visit.

Tried it out for brunch with a friend and will definitely be going back. Decent range of options, nice atmosphere (it’s very popular for brunch so is busy and you should book) and the staff were outstanding.

They don 't know how to make a poached egg! raw egg white! also if you want tap water they tell you to get up mid conversation and go get the water yourself! when I told them this was beyond ridiculous they said if I order bottled water they will serve it! also when I complained that my poached eggs were amongst the worst I 've had they said did you want them well done? when I tried to explain theres a difference between the egg yolk being runny and the egg white being raw they seemed to not get it!! anyway! I won 't be going back!

antipodea has quickly become my favorite brunch spot in putney. the service is amazing, the ambiente is perfect, and eating is incredible. I'd think I'd eat a bit, and I really think it's the best brunch I've ever had. I'm always looking to talk out to go back to the brunch! the special (northish egg was beautiful, and the brew melt (a favorite my friend had delicious!) I was also very jealous of my two friends who went for slightly smaller options (porridge and banana brot with yogurt and pistachios! next time I will definitely have a two curs brunch! oh and the sides! we had the mushrooms and the halloumi and oh my! they were phenominal! and you can even buy Australian snacks to the first...

I initially disappointed that it was so quiet for a Saturday night, but a few more people came in after us. Given that it wasn't busy, service was a bit slow and not great. My starter (beetroot salad with walnuts) was good, but main course of smoked aubergine ravioli was not hot, and was smothered in too much sauce. One friend had Sliders, which arrived with not even a lettuce leaf on the side, so looked very stark on the plate, and other friend had veal escalope with loads of salad, which seemed a strange accompaniment. It didn't look very appetising, and she didn't eat half of it. We chose a Sauvignon Blanc which was fine but it wasn't Australian, so overall, I'm sorry, but I wouldn't reco... Ver carta
