"Osteria niente male, gestori simpatici e disponibili. Cibo a volte molto interessante, altre moto meno: antipasti ottimi, mangiato tonnina ventresca tonno) e palamita con cipolla eccellenti, così come lo spaghetto all'astice e gi gnocchi coi ricci di mare. Quest'ultimi richiesti in una sera di pieno tavoli...niente di chè, con finale piccante.... Cacciucco buono ma non memorabile. Consiglio: il pane posto sul fondo della terrina alla fine risulta papparuccia; sarebbe meglio posarlo sui lati.Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per essere all'Elba."

"Location: 4 stelle Menù: 4 stelle Servizio: 5 stelle Conto: 5 stelle Naturalmente il ristorante trovandosi sul lungomare di un paese dell Elba nn può che essere meraviglioso, il cibo di ottima qualità è anche compensato da prezzi contenuti (in proporzione anche al territorio). Quello che mi ha lasciato un ottima impressione è stato il servizio, le ragazze gentilissime e professionali sono state anche molto reattive quando all improvviso il clima è peggiorato e ci siamo dovuti trasferire all interno. Voto finale 4 stelle e mezzo."

"Overlooking the stunning harbour of Rio Marina on the island of Elba is the wonderful Ristorante Il Grigolo. The food on offer here ideally compliments the wonderful surroundings. Seafood is the king on the menu with a wide variety of dishes on offer from delectable...starters that include a medley of pickled fish to a comprehensive range of main meals. My friend and I shared a superb lobster risotto while another had the seafood pasta. Finish this with an Affogato (drowned) an ice cream with an espresso coffee poured on it, and all is well with the world. All served with a fresh white wine that just brought the whole occasion to very delightful climax. The whole meal was presented wonderfully by charming and helpful staff and all at a very reasonable price. What’s not to like?"

"Un posto davvero splendido! Ne avevo ricordi bellissimi quando ci venivo con i miei, 35 anni fa e più.. Dopo tutto questo tempo sono potuto tornare a fare le ferie all'Isola d'Elba e non ho potuto fare a meno di ricercare questo ristorante.. Seppure i ricordi avessero ingigantito il locale i timori di rimanere deluso sono stati fugati già dal personale veramente gentilissimo. L'accoglienza mette veramente a proprio agio ed i piatti sono abbondanti. La qualità è notevole e il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Il posto non è economico ma in linea con tutti i ristoranti dove fanno il pesce, ma la qualità degli ingredienti e, a mio parere, il sapore dei piatti lo rende davvero speciale! Antipasto diviso in due, quello chiamato carrellata di mare, se non sbaglio, che è più che abbondante e diviso così è perfetto, composto da molti tipi di assaggi diversi, uno meglio dell'altro, poi due fritture di calamari e gamberi, davvero pressoché perfette e poi due dolci, una zuppa inglese e una specie di cantucci fatti con l'impasto della schiaccia briaca e Aleatico. Davvero tutto buonissimo con due bottiglie d'acqua e due caffè a 75 €. Direi onestissimo. Sicuramente in questa settimana di ferie ci torno e spero anche poi! Ho una sola foto perché ero troppo impegnato a gustare i piatti per fotografarli.."

"Attracted by the location I didn't know, I go for a pizza and, despite reading that the prices were a little over the average, booked for 3 hours 21,30. They specify that we could have to wait beyond booking time because Saturday. We arrive and on the outside we immediately notice everything full and a single table free and equipped for 3, however not to make mistakes, despite the long row to the cash, we arrange to ask confirmation if our table was ready. The cashier answers yes and that was exactly what we had seen before and invites us to sit down and so we do. After a few minutes waiting for someone who came to take the order, we see a lady who begins with and to you who told you to sit here? Initially we were amazed and then I answered her the boss is that if she preferred we could get up and go. To which he understood that perhaps a good evening would be better to debut with a new customer, however not to pass because owner of second home. . Having received the explanation of why we were sitting there, it was justified by saying that often foreign tourists and the local, in fact it was full, do so. We speak Italian and hardly you can exchange for foreigners.... Let's say the evening started malino, anyway we ordered 3 pizzas of which 2 of the gourmet decanters. The perfect Naples, the buffalo and raw comes cold as it loads of raw ham and over the mozzarella to pieces without that in the menu was indicated and that not even the waitress specified it, a brick paid 15 euros; my son orders a mortadella pesto and I do not remember what other ingredient and you see coming a pizza with mortadella and a lake of oil of poor pesto, paid 18 euros!!! What do you think? I could not please my 17-year-old son's request not to say anything and I explained that the two gourmet pizzas were very bad, with the ingredients thrown there on a pasta base that would be also good. Shortly after we hear another young Roman maid like us, reporting that someone complained that pizzas were raw... Maybe pizzaiolo wasn't able and the improvised rooms. For the rest the place seemed nice even if in the dark we could not appreciate the details."
