Called in for a takeaway tonight for the first and last time. I have never had such a bland Indian meal, bought 3 mains but am so disappointed. Unfortunately the food doesn't compare to the restaurants in Hexham. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50

Always welcoming and welcoming with a happy smile and great attitude goes a long way. I’ve eaten here both sitting in and take out for many years and always without complaint. The service is good ; however the food is horrible. We took takeaways and it's the spiciest to the death. There is no other test only a mix of chilli powder with water. The Aramee has been a beloved restaurant in Prudhoe for many years, and for very good reason. The food is always exceptional and reasonably priced. When you combine this with the beautifully comfortable atmosphere and genuinely friendly service, it guarantees a perfect dining experience. I could describe the meal I enjoyed last night with my son in detail, but I'll simply say that our Poppadoms with multi-dip starter, along with the chicken tikka biryani and chicken jalfrezi accompanied by a keema naan, were absolutely outstanding. If you haven't visited The Aramee yet, you should definitely go soon; we certainly will be back!

Food was fantastic, garlic with cheese naan was not on the menu, but they served it up for me on request. Unlike most Indian restaurants the desert menu was extensive, my choice of ice cream based vanilla toffee was outstanding at just £4. They let us stay past closing, served us a complimentary Sambuca each. The hot towels were a really nice touch value for money was outstanding, given the cost of living crisis. Toilets were well maintained clean, the only stars I've withdrawn were for atmosphere, nothing to do with the staff, a family run business, it was just a bit quiet when we went at nearly 10PM on a Friday night, but I was delighted we got a table after watching the Chelsa game, so ha...
