Arc - Carta

I may have mentioned this previously, but it appears that each charity shop tends to specialize in specific items for some reason.

Arc is another addition to the multitude of charity shops in Headingley, offering a variety of items for shoppers to browse through.

Went here for lunch, had a burger and fries which cost about with a lemonade, was ok. The person who served me was friendly, kept being asked if I needed anything. Ver carta

Came here when it wasn’t so busy. Found some bar staff to be friendly. However, when ordering drinks at the bar, I found that only one side were getting served. I spoke to the duty manager who had no interest. Never smiled and looked like...work was a hindrance. This place could be a a decent place if the staff were more friendly and welcoming

Visited the Arc with a bunch of friends for a quiet Saturday catch up. Food was fantastic, great location, good drinks but the real highlight of the day was Alice who works at the arc. Of all the staff she was the ‘one’! Friendly, beautiful...smile and very attentive if I return she will be the reason it will be like a scene out of love actually!

I had a fantastic experience at The Arc on a bank holiday Sunday. The atmosphere was lively and I enjoyed some of the most delicious cocktails in Headingley. I tried the Mai Tai at their cocktail bar and it was amazing. The manager mentioned that they are also building a Tiki roof over the bar with bamboo bars, which sounds exciting. Sat in here now the pepperoni pizza was fantastic, no problem, however the onion rings were disgusting. I like the fact that they were proper onion rings in batter, but the fact you took them straight out of the fryer and dumped them in the...serving bowl was not good. We had to try and dry each onion ring off on napkins as there was so much grease in the serving bowl. Loved it apart from the onion rings, buy some kitchen roll and get rid of the grease before you serve, I’ll be back to see if you do!!!!

What a night!. I recently visited the Arc in Headingley on a Monday night. I couldnt believe what a great vibe there was. We had the most delicious gourmet burgers. I chose the vegetarian option of Halloumi Cheese with Butternut Squash and my boyfriend had the Thai Chicken with sweet chilli sauce. We both ate the full dish the added bonus was that they were (at what a bargain! The music in the bar was current and catchy we ended up getting quite merry on the cocktails. The staff were attentive and the cocktail guy was a good laugh! Will definitly be returning to The Arc soon!

Over priced drinks, cocktails came in a tiny glass full of ice, so basically after a few drinks you were finished. For this is a bit extreme. Do not even get me started on the food, the burgers are disgusting and tasteless, wouldn't feed...it to my dog. However, the pizzas are quite decent. Went for the quiz, the guy running it needs to take the mic away from his mouth as he is hard to understand. We also kept getting disconnected, which is a nuisance. The staff are average, some of them you will be lucky to get eye contact never mind a smile, but hey ho Very student based, rowdy and loud not really suitable for kids Ver carta
