"well, that I've been in arthur's foot for a long time. it is actually moved by some blocks within the city, so I think it is over three years since I last visited. what brought me back then was her coffee deal, and it was the same deal that brought me back in this time, also supported by pure curiosity: every coffee a quid. so far I already had a large flat white coffee for a quid an hour before at the hotel chocolat café and I was just in time for their deal. So it was another flat white of arthur and I was dizzy, but it arthur behind the counter? his distinctive gait, his friendly demeanour and his barista skills combined with old memories told me that it is the same type as before, he may not be arthur. as I put on my deal revolut card on the ready I noticed a lunch deal including a huh filled ciabatta sandwich, a softdrink or americano or tee. Now just like the coffee that's a real deal."

the best coffee/sandwich shop in belfast. the most friendly staff they could meet. I went back to home today after six months. that cannot believe, but they remembered my special preferences. the absolute best.

Quick and pleasant service from the two girls making the sandwiches, and could not fault a very tasty toasted sarny at a fair price...well made and struggled to finish it to be honest...pleasant atmosphere too from the regulars. Sat in and will be back!

My wife and I stopped into this coffee shop sandwich bar recently and we were well impressed with good helpful friendly service, really good food with generous portions and all served at a very reasonable price. We will be back soon when in the...city centre again.

found myself outside this hidden gem when hunger hit and the warning light came on indicating I needed coffee and fast. Ended up have the chicken chilli toasted sandwich with a cappuccino and boy was I glad I did. Very quick service with friendly staff...and a happy camper here. Highly recommended.

my mother and I arrived here today for lunch and got exactly what we were looking for. we have suppe and sandwich to each plus a coffee, cold drink and crack all for about there is a good choice to decide what to put in their sandwiches and there were separate suppen. I had sweet potato and chili suppe while mum lentil kor suppmae, both of which were beautiful. I would recommend that for anyone looking for a fast, good lunch in belfast city centre.

Thought I'd try Arthurs for a change. There was no queue when I arrived which was great. I ordered a white bread sandwich from one guy, there were two people working at the counter. There wasn't a great selection of salads on the counter. The...lady asked me what I wanted inside then took me over to pay immediately before my sandwich was even made. I thought this is great very time efficient. It wasn't. There was no butter on the sandwich. The bread was hard. There was red onion in my sandwich which I did not order. I was charged for cheese and salad.

We have been in Arthur's quite a few times and really like it. However we went to the newly opened one today and a couple if things annoyed me. The tea is served as a tea bag in a cup which I don't think is...particularly good. I went back up for a second cup as I had a sandwich and needed more tea. I asked was it possible to have it in a mug as opposed to the small cup and was told no as it was a bigger vessel. I really don't know why this was a problem as it was only going to be extra water not exactly going to break the bank. I also purchased chocolate tray baked which were warm and melting.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."
