Only went here for food, I can not speak for the rooms. Food was good, could of had more choice on the menu, but all in all good. Service: 5

Sunday carvery...food was amazing!!!!, but front of house staff were a little flappy and although we booked ahead our table wasn 't ready and we had to wait for it to be cleaned and set Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great value Ver carta

I've been in the asheburnham since I was child. it is a beautiful place, the personal is fantastic and eating is beautiful. we celebrated our high season and had our evening reception here on 29 June 2016. I can't praise the staff enough, they let everything go so smoothly, especially sue, nothing was too much annoyed. they feel like the only ones that are important. many thanks for everything they have done for us. Me and my wife got married here yesterday. What an unbelievable day it was kathy was absolutely fantastic and helped us every step of the way through the planning and made sure our day was absolutely perfect. The staff were all superb and the food was delicious hats off to the chefs. I would recommend ashburnham to anyone who is looking to get married cause the day was wonderful. I would like to thank you personally and all those who worked on our high-time day on 16 September. a massive thanks that they saw it such a perfect day of the place amazing, eating was beautiful and everyone was well fed and watered by all the workers who were ingenious all said how much they enjoyed and we certainly did not want to finish it, sue made everything smooth absolutely beautiful dame running, I would highly recommend to marry there. thanks to the ashburnham we have the best memories of this hotel. marie and dean.
