Ashby's Deli Cafe - Carta

The temptation to get rid of any old cooked chicken just before closing time isn't really an excuse.

Very small, breakfast ok but completely overpriced. Told where to sit like being a school not many smiling welcoming faces, chef looked miserable or maybe angry

I call once or twice a week to this restaurant that caters to all tastes. Their breakfasts are excellent and I always receive a warm welcome from the friendly and efficient staff. Ver carta

The menu was comprehensive, the service was very good and the quality was excellent. I would highly commend to those who appreciate the difference between good quality simple food well cooked rather than cheap processed ’fast food’ pay your money, make your choice !

What a find spending time waiting to catch a train and found Ashby’s deli. Really attractive decor and friendly welcome. The toasted tea cake was awesome and a very good selection of indulgent cakes the Malteaser brownie was great. Highly Recommend and would definitely return.

My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the club sandwich and she had the beef and blue sandwich, and we decided to split them. The food was served quickly, hot, and incredibly delicious. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Ver carta

Booked a table for 11:30, took order immediately still not served by 12:15 we had to leave as we had to go somewhere, seemed to have loads of takeaways going out rather than concentrating on sit in customers. This place used to be good, won't be going again! The people on the table next to us waited an hour, and another lady walked out. Unless you have all afternoon I wouldn't bother.

While waiting for my car's MOT nearby, I found solace and refreshment at this cafe just in time. The service was friendly, the tables were spotless, and the option to take waffles to-go was a plus. The view down the street was impressive and added to the memorable experience. I highly recommend trying the delicious waffle with fruit and white chocolate drizzle, paired with a coffee. The cafe also had a convenient gift shop.

Visited many times but in this occasion I arrived at 1200 noon and was told to sit down (very forward if not rude). Eventually the waitress came over to take my order . I ordered a breakfast and she said “ we stop doing breakfast at 12.. I looked at the time it was 1203. I asked politely if it was possible.. “ not a chance “ was her reply. I got a sandwich and I’ve never been back since. What type of venue turns money away? A little tin pot hitler indeed. Ver carta
