We enjoyed the dinner however the waitress threw the last part of the wine in our bottle away instead of pouring it into our glass

A wonderful breakfast experience enjoyed by us both, just around the corner from the National Gallery! Went back there again this morning 29/08/24

Everything about the hotel and dining is 5 stars. Traveled here for first time from US and was a bit uneasy of what to expect but it has truly been the best part of our vacation. We would pick this hotel restaurant time time again Ver carta

Pre theatre menu. Octopus a bit small. Cod all round very good. Nice white wine reasonable priced. Desserts good. Service very welcoming and supportive. Attentive and not intrusive. Gluten free requirement for one met without issue.

This is not the main restaurant as advertised but the place for the afternoon tea. The main restaurant is closed for repairs apparently. Nevertheless, the food is really good quality, service is quick and efficient and ambience is fine. Worth coming for pre theatre meal

Very convenient for Duke of York Theatre for pre show meal. No recognition of special celebration (birthday) treat. Smoked salmon served not as described on brunch menu. Slow service between courses but waiting staff friendly and attentive. Music too loud and intrusive to conversation. Ver carta

First time here in years and now sih I had not left it so long. Great inventive menu, good wine list and not at silly pricing level and exceptional staff from the moment one walked in. Nothing was too much bother and particular shout out to Aarati who was wonderful! After the theatre we came back for drinks in the cocktail bar, met by Anastasia another super member of staff) and looked after by Daniel in the bar interesting cocktails on offer too. This will now be my pre theatre dining venue for any plays around that area. Thanks to all concerned

Always best to start on a positive and I have to say the food was excellent. Imaginative, delicious and beautifully presented. Alas the service was not great. There were lots of staff milling around and for quite a while we were the only guests. We asked for one of your lovely bricohes , did not arrive until we asked again and it arrived during the starter. We had to ask for our wine to be topped up and at one stage my freinds plate was taken before I had finsihed my course. When the cheese arrived it was described as cheddar, a blue cheese and a brie. The member of staff was not aware of the exact cheese which was comte, roquefort and brie. Such a shame since last time we had excellent serv...

A peaceful oasis in St.Martins Lane a choice for a pre theatre dinner. Most of the other bars in the area seemed crowded and noisy. There were only two other couples in the restaurant. Tables were large and the chairs comfortable. I had read reviews that the background music had been too loud but I found the music unobtrusive. I similarly had read reviews that the portions of octopus in the octopus salad were small so I was prepared for that but the salad that it came with was very fresh. My friend’s starter of chicken liver pate was more generous and looked pink and appetising. My main course of sea bass was well prepared and presented.
