"A great substitute On my last night in Germany I was looking forward to a heavy Bratwurst type of a meal, but my wife wasn't feeling tip top and wanted soup, so we ended up at Cha Cha. Was I disappointed? Initially I was, but we are a team and you don't always get what you want. I came up with my choice, a rice and pork dish with pieces of pineapple called Gebratener Thai-Eirreis mit Ananas und Schweinefilet. That took about 20 minutes. When I was finally able to start eating it was really very good. There was a nice blend of flavors and I particularly liked it when I ran across a piece of pineapple. Normally I would have drowned a dish like this with soy sauce but there was none on the table. Instead, the dish came with a couple of lime slices, and they added even more fresh flavor. I have to admit, this was a great substitute to the meal I had initially wanted. It says something when a restaurant can change your mind. Service was not so much quick as abrupt. Take the order and gone. A food runner drops off drinks and later, food. Time to pay the bill, done and gone. Not unlike what I have found at other places during my couple of weeks in Europe, but certainly different than the glad to see you more informal approach restaurants take in the US. Part of the fun of visiting other parts of the world is discovering things that are similar, and things that are different than home. It was a great holiday."

The restaurant is a really nice place. Nice setting, but staff appears very unfriendly. I ordered some yellow curry, and it was very sweet, it was okay, nothing exceptional. They had vegetarian options which was nice, but eating didn't feel as nice when it feels like you are being judged.

Great food and modern decor. We enjoyed the food it was delicious. It's one of the fe places in Europe that allows you to be in and out fast if your in a rush. My wife ordered curry and I ordered a spicy beef dish similar to drunken noodles but with no noodles. Our food was amazing and so was the service.

This restaurant is across from the awesome Mandala Suites hotel. For my last evening in Berlin, I treated myself to a nice meal at Cha Cha. Ordered Tom Yum and Chicken Massamun. Both were excellent and nicely portioned. The curry sauce in the entree was amazing... One of the best I have ever had in my life. Served with Jasmine rice. I love Berlin.... And this place is a winner. I hope to go back one day!!!

Waitress at 6PM on this date asks me to turn off my phone while I'm FaceTiming with my friend who called when she came to ask me for my order and clearly wasn't ready. Never had this happen before at other restaurants which were not as casual as this one (very casual), I'm very conscientious of my volume, but my time is my time. I was eating dinner solo and no way was any louder than the four guffawing next to me or the baby crying behind me. The fact that Yelp has three stars average for this place should've been warning enough, but I wanted Thai. Had the fried rice, squarely 2.5/5 because it was bland. Ingredients used are fine though.
