"the restaurant Bok-Mikawa in the schanzenstraße in hamburg, is a Latin small, well-visited, modern restaurant without much crisp. without reservation, however, it is very difficult to get a table here, especially in the midday phase, because the restaurant is always very well visited. the selection of foods is very diverse and everything I have tried so far was also scary. the service staff is very friendly and attentive. the mikawa adapts to the high level in hamburg, but for that they also get good and plentiful for their money and can enjoy its eating in a pleasant atmosphere."

simple but excellent eating in this against a fair price! try! it is the Asian (vietnamese, Thai food) what they expect!

was good, but unfortunately it happened for the second time that the half of the suppe was in the bag and no longer in the cup. either your drivers need to be more careful, or the restaurants need better togo cups for suppers.

the gastroenvironment is something, of course must be used. eating is very good. I like to eat a chicken soup in the cold season and between then also the large menu (51) with vegetables etc. eating is hot, is dressed appetit. the staff is always friendly and helpful. if the last weren't cut off, I would give everyone staring. the rest is unbeatable. I discovered the store by chance through Google maps and I'm very happy about it. At the boss's suggestion, I ordered the 102 (Kathmandu Butter Chicken). I am very positively surprised. If you love butter chicken, you should definitely try this creative version. Not only is it delicious, but it is also a welcome change from the classic recipes. Clear recommendation!

Great flavors, but noodles are a bit salty, sweet and sour a bit too sweet, but where restaurant really shines is the fast service, low price and relaxed environment in a trendy, albeit a bit gritty, foody area. The miso soup was exceptionally good, and another dish worthy of mention is not on the menu, but has a picture by the wall soup with noodles and vegetables (can have meat I think). Noodles seem more like linguine than Asian noodles but taste is about the same, anyway.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
