thanks for a nicely cooked dinner. they need to book in advance and get a time to get to, this is important for them to manage their kitchen. it is dog-friendly. there is a beautiful view of the castle. simply excellent and full food. highly recommended. x

Dropped in for lunch while visiting Harlech what a great find. We had the daily special (a porchetta bap) which was just fab. Really tender, juicy meat, full of flavour. The service was really friendly. We also had an amazing donut (made in house). This place is such a cut above your average local cafe, well worth a visit!

What can we say? Thank you all so much for the amazing food and service. There is nothing to criticize at As.Is. I would and will definitely recommend it to anyone. A refuge from the chaos, this restaurant offers excellent service and wonderfully delicious, high-quality food. If there's a microwave in the kitchen, it seems like it’s rarely used! The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance and decor are quite pleasing. We decided to take our dessert to go since one guest couldn't make it, and the staff handled it effortlessly, adding another positive touch to our evening. Highly recommended!

my man booked a table for my birthday and it was a culinary joy! all on the menu looks delicious, it was hard to choose we shared starter portions of pizza and pasta (both fantastic) followed by the best ever steak and chips. we enjoyed it far more than hawksmoor in london, if we lived only closer to this jewel of a restaurant. very attentive service, we enjoyed our evening very well, perfectly finished with homemade cheesecake. hopefully back!

This is a lovely family-run restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious! I tried the lamb and duck dishes, which were surprisingly well-prepared. I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance, as there aren’t many seating options available. However, once you have a table, you can enjoy the whole evening without feeling rushed. The waitstaff, especially the lady who served us (I didn't catch her name, but she was very lively and funny, with glasses), were brilliant! Ver carta

what a wonderful place! as soon as we came in and the waitress commented on the purple of my friend we knew this would be a friendly, relaxed and pleasant place. the upper floor bistro is really well designed and relaxed. eating it was so difficult to choose. I went for the duck and bubble, with my friend for the seafood pasta. we couldn't resist a garlic pizza on the side. all tasted fresh. the duck was a joy, but it was the white bonsmaic and the roasted carrot I loved most. I had to have a panacotta later. there is no image as it tasted too good! all were served with a glass homemade limonade and a pint of purple moose ale. the service was raised. super friendly and helpful. we will go ag...
