Visiting a friend and after a long day of travel and walking we decided to do takeaway. The restaurant had good reviews on Deliveroo so we ordered to pizzas...

The main point here is that via Opentable a booking was made for 10pm but when we arrived the restaurant advised that they actually closed at 945pm. However they stayed behind and provided us with fresh excellent food and drink. Cannot praise their attitude highly enough! Ver carta

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently good. However, I was informed when I called the restaurant during lunchtime that they were no longer taking reservations for that evening. I ended up using Open Table to book a table online. Good job, Open Table, but why was the restaurant not taking bookings over the phone?

The staff at this restaurant are always lovely. The pizzas are excellent and the wine is of superior quality. The only disappointment on this occasion was the salad, which lacked imagination and was ruined by too much salt (never had a salad with salt before, and there was no dressing). Despite this, I love this restaurant and always visit when I'm in Glasgow.

The restaurant was overbooked and the staff run off their feet. The service was extremely slow and we had a very long wait for our main course . So much so that we had to forgo coffee as it would take 15 minutes to serve us. We were told. A disappointing start to our evening. I would suggest that despite it being a busy evening the booking staff should have considered the effect this would have on the kitchen staff to present the meals timely and efficiently. Ver carta
