At first we were welcome by the owner who spoke excellent English. the menu in French and English has been explained to us. all fresh ingredients cooked to order. the resturant is clean warm and had a real French atmosphere. we found this resturant by Tripadvisor,...and the reviews proved to be very helpful and honest.

we sat outside on the terrace and the menu of the day. the salate of tomato with melone and pfirsichen was a subtle combination of pure taste, as an salate comparing meeress fruits and kartomas. the most important courses of pasta (vegetarian) and huh had...finesse and allowed the taste of each component to pass through. that was nice cooking

Gorgeous setting, lovely feel and very helpful, polite staff and the food was amazing! 3 courses for approximately €27 and all very fine dining . Varied menu with local specialities and traditional food. Good wine selection too with knowledgeable staff (one man in particular) It...was our second visit in 5 years and was as good this time as the 1st. Highly recommended

we ate an evening at the peak of the season during our last holiday to lucon. eating was beautifully presented, very good quality and a very relaxing atmosphere. the owner has excellent English and an English menu was available (although we ok with the French menu! we were very welcome, the outdoor terrace was comfortable and relaxing and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the opposite.

As a lot of local restaurants were closed for annual holidays so we were recommended this restaurant in Lucon. It is really charming, good location close to the town with good on site parking. The staff were extremely friendly and speak English if required. The...menu had good choices and wasn't overly expensive. The food was first class and very well presented, will definitely visit again . It also has a hotel attached which could be useful.

We had just arrived in the area on holiday and wanted a good meal and we weren't disappointed in our choice of restaurant.We were welcomed by friendly folk who spoke English and were given menus in both English and French. The specials were described in...detail and we ordered our three courses. The desert had to be ordered at the same time as they are all freshly made.All three courses were a delight and we couldn't fault them. Why was this restaurant not packed? There was only us and another three folk in on a Sunday lunchtime. We will be back before our holiday is finished.

Recommended by our holiday home folder, this restaurant was only a five minute drive away. A day after our wedding anniversary we headed her with my sisters babysitting for us. The welcome was very friendly (it seems we spoke French so well that we were...given French menus when English ones were available). The set menu was only €27 but the food was exquisite. In the U.K. this type of meal would cost a fortune but here it seems incredibly cheap. Sardines and beef terrine for starters, beef and fish of the day for mains and apple tart and pistachio and raspberry for pudding. Tasty wines and excellent service cannot recommend enough.

My wife and I enjoyed a good dinner in the welcoming dining room, with friendly service from Madame and her staff. (Good English spoken and menus in English) the highlight was a delicious starter of chopped smoked salmon in a timbale with mango, with shaved...celeriac in a lime dressing. The only reason I have not given a 5* review is to do with the wine. We asked Madame to suggest a local white and after a few sips I thought it was slightly oxidised the taste was sweetish but not fruity at all.
