Auberge du Jaunay - Carta

This restaurant is particularly good for moules and crepes/ galettes many of the French dine here. Always busy though lots of seats inside and out . Lovely outside when sunny . Good service not expensive.

Had a lovely meal here with the whole family and they had a childrens menu. Set menu was lovely however I think I'd have the crepes next time as they looked amazing and seemed to be what the locals were there for (always a good sign).

A beautiful setting on the banks of Lac Du Jaunay. Restaurant is rustic looking and the food is wonderful. We had adults and children who were all catered for splendidly. The menu is a little limited but what they do produce is top class. Ver carta

We go to this restaurant often but our meal last night was one of the best ever. We all had moules and all agreed they were the best we have ever had, tasty, hot and deliciously moist. All washed down with some crisp muscadat.Thank you Carl

This lovely restaurant with great views over the lake is brilliant.Gallettes are great, Breakfast Gallettes really should be eaten before lunch but works for lunch as well. Rest of the family enjoyed Finlande with goats cheese and salmon, complete game, cheese and eggs.A short break led to sweet crepes again lovely.We are just trying to fit another trip here before we return home

We ate here in the evening following some great reviews particularly about the Moules. My wife had the Moules which were very good , I had a 'burger in a crepe' which was average . What let the place down though was the service which was slow and somewhat surly ( possibly as the waitress was serving 8 tables on her own) . I'm glad we went as the actual restaurant was a very nice old building with great views to the lake but probabLy would not return based on the service . Ver carta

As above title suggests, we had amazing food here, but the service was nothing short of nasty. I'm well travelled in France, and know that service there is not always what we've come to expect, but rolling eyes and crunching up our order that we had just given and throwing it at us? Totally unnecessary, and all because one of the kids decided to change her mind on her galette. Disgusting behaviour which was noted by all. Not only that, but we were ignored for much of our meal, and despite only ordering a glass of wine and a glass of cider, we were charged for a bottle of both. Check your bill!

We booked a table for 7 of us to have a meal before heading home the following day.I'm only sorry we didn't have a meal sooner.We've visited many times before and it is situated in an idyllic spot on the banks of the Lac du Jaunay.We had table inside and it was already packed so booking is definitely the best option.We had the set menu which was €24.90 We had pate to start which was exceptional followed by beef with vegetables which was also extremely good and for dessert we had chocolate brownie with ice cream and cream. A really lovely meal cooked to a high standard and very well priced.Can't wait to return again next year but we won't leave it till the last night next time.

Situé dans un très bel endroit, avec une agréable terrasse, j'ai surtout apprécié ce restaurant car les propositions de menus sont très pertinentes. En effet ce que j'ai d'autant plus apprécié car nous y sommes allés à 2 reprises c'est le fait que lorsque vous demandez une salade, le chef propose 2 tailles différentes pour celles-ci, S et XL. Et la XL était généreuse et ce n'était pas comme la plupart des restaurants qui donne une assiette avec un lit de salade avec juste les autres ingrédients saupoudrés sur celle-ci, non ici on retrouve de bons ingrédients partout dans la salade. La seconde fois ,nous avons mangé des galettes et crêpes, là aussi produits frais et très bon goûts étaient au... Ver carta
