We live in a nearby village so this is our regular restaurant. A friendly welcome and delicious food. Visiting family also enjoy their visits to the Auberge.

Mustidan is almost dead for restaurants, but this is worth visiting. I know I checked it months ago, but valérie and bertrand still try to bring good food to the city. covid was bad for restaurants in this part. of france, but please try to visit as they are not disappointed Ver carta

On the penultimate night of our holiday to a local village we decided to try this restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic and the husband and wife team were very hospitable. We dined outside under the cover of the trees and umbrellas. Highly recommended,...if you’re in town give it a go. Thank you.

we had the restaurant menu courses for per head. simple, but really nice and delicious. the owner and her man (cook) make her very welcome and since my wife is gluten intolerance, she has examined everything for her. I couldn't owe it. if they would be safe... come, they might have to book if many locals eat there, another recommendation in themselves.

We enjoyed a pleasant family meal here with our young daughters. The restaurant building is a traditional stone premises situated next to a park, the outdoor terrace at the back is nice. Food is simple but good and service is warm and friendly. Also, this...restaurant has a vegetarian menu (unheard of in rural dordogne) I would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Ver carta

A nice but unremarkable lunch. Lovely service but goat's cheese on pain de mie followed by a duck sausage (very tasty) with plain rice and an OK strawberry cheese cake was not what I had hoped for from the reviews here. Good value but really...not worth a detour. A little more trouble in presentation and flavour would bring the food up to the level of the service. OK but disappointed.

Mussidan has a total lack of places to eat so it is a joy that this place does good food drink at a good price. Out of season, check opening times to make things easy for the husband wife team book beforehand....It was very quiet this time but when we next visit in months time hopefully they will have had a busy Summer. If you want good food, drink, ambience price you have to visit Valerie Bertrand's restaurant!

This was our first dinner after arriving in France that day. Feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious to try any French phrases that we knew, we were immediately welcomed as friends. A lovely outside dining area and very helpful staff made our experience just right....The server helped us with a wine choice and all three of us tried a different plate. We spent the rest of the meal sampling each other’s food When I’m near that region I would go there again, not only for the food, but the hospitality and ambiance. Ver carta
