Always been aware of this restaurant but never visited but wish I had before. Nice layout, reasonably priced, pleasant husband

Enjoyed dinner in the garden of Auberge du musee. Very friendly service and attentive service. We opted for a salad (huge)! and a 3 course menu. Reasonably priced.

13 of us visited as part of a weekly group meeting sampling restaurants around the area. This was a great value lunch, all home cooked by the husband and wife team, all served with big smiles. We will be back

Very pleasant family restaurant. Our party of six were surrounded by locals so there was a good buzzy atmosphere. The service was very attentive and the selection of menus were all very tasty. The local wine in carafes was excellent. Ver carta

We a three course lunch which was great - for starters we had warm gizzards salad (!) - loads of it and very tasty then mains we had pork with a creamy sauce (amazing)! and beef - delicious and yummy puds. A good atmosphere, attended by friendly locals. and not very expensive.

A most friendly clean hospitable family run authentic French Restaurant, excellent wine list, situated at the top end of Mussidan. English speaking with a quality menu. We dinned on several occasions with local friends/villagers, the service was excellent, the food was worthy of Michelin Star/s. Call to ensure opening times and enquire after the specials.

We missed the lunch window for this restaurant first day - we arrived at 1.30 first day, and their lunch sitting was done. They eat early! But 12.30 the next day was fine, and we had a lovely meal. The owner was very hospitable and put up with my schoolgirl French, her English was better and she translated the whole menu for my non-French speaking husband. There were quite a few options for the three courses, which we hadn't expected, and they were happy to mix across the 'menu du jour', 'menu du chef' etc.Food was home cooked and very good indeed - the foie gras was the best my husband had, and I enjoyed an entrecôte with some excellent vegetables.
