"Well, I came late into Bad Kohlgrub from the Munich airport due to Lufthansa flight from Hamburg being late by over an hour and the locals did not serve anymore food, hence being 'starved ' all day, I needed to eat. Hence the Indian restaurant was the only option. The owner helped me somewhat, with the selection Due to certain vegetables allergies, like peppers /paprika, green,yellow or red, chilli, tomatoe or cucumbers which I have explained to Mr Avtar, I had ordered Lamb vindaloo with a side dish of veges. The dish was tasty, including a generous serve of basmati rice, a small serve of lamb in butter sauce and a small serve of veges in a butter sauce. So far so good, the place has sitting statues of Budda everywhere, thus I assumed he believed in good karma. However the end paying price was just too much, over 31 Euros. When I check the bill, the guy charged me 11 Euros for the vegetable side dish of Indian vegetables. Does he think this will bring him 'good karma '??? Beware of the Indian scorpion sting...."

we saw this place during the stay in the opposite and had made plans to try it. we love Indian cuisine and this place has not disappointed! delicious food and great service. highly recommended!

Plenty too choose from the menu. Taste of the dishes was okay, not what we are used from the average Indian cuisine. The butter chicken was not as soft and tender, but rather tough. Other than that worth to try it yourself.

Friendly staff. Nice food although could have been a bit spicier and no Bombay Alu on the menu..I thought the Germans loved potato! Was surprised not to see food warmers bring used on the tables. Tablecloth was a little dirty when we sat down. Kids enjoyed it but they don't do kids portions. Would go again. Popular on a Sat night..all tables full!

Went tonight. Ordered 2 starters one arrived when I asked about the other one I was asked if I wanted the chilli chicken as a starter or main. I clearly ordered it as a starter pointing to it on the menu. When the mains arrived my wife's butter chicken tasted like a thick tomato soup and was cold as in just out of the fridge cold. My vindaloo looked exactly like the butter chicken and was not spicy in the slightest. In both meals the chicken was though to chew. We also ordered water with ice and got water. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone on what I seen and tasted tonight.
