The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't try anything more than main meals on this occasion (due to personal reasons only) but we definitely want to come back for a full meal and cocktails in the future.

This restaurant is amazing and definitely one of the best in the area. We make a special trip from Stockport just to dine here. The prices are great and on Wednesdays, you can get two mains and desserts for the price of one. The food, service, and atmosphere all score a perfect 5.

I thoroughly enjoyed the lentil curry at this restaurant. However, the beetroot curry was too spicy for my liking. The jackfruit small plate starter was also delicious. I took advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on a Wednesday, which was great. I would also suggest trying the garlic roti, it was really good.

I couldn't find a single flaw with this restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly from the moment we walked in. The quick and efficient service made the dining experience a perfect 10. I had never tried Sri Lankan cuisine before, but I enjoyed every bite. My wife enjoyed her meal so much that she took the leftovers home to avoid wasting any. I highly recommend this restaurant.

it was our first time to taste sri lankas eating, and ayubowan was the perfect place to have it! beautiful atmosphere, decorations and ambiente that they feel they are in sri lanka. eating was delicious, we loved the calamari rings and the kothtu (with hulls and garnels). for the desert we had the chocolate biscuit pudding, a sri Lanka recipe, and we will certainly return to the watalappan (another authentic desert! an absolute jewel in glossop, thank you!

Ayubowan! We visited this restaurant last Friday and were pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant in Glossop! As someone who is part Sri Lankan and has tried many dishes in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed appetizers, main dishes, cocktails, and desserts for a reasonable price. The decor and ambiance are lovely and truly reminiscent of Sri Lanka. The service was good and the food was delicious. We are excited to come back here in the future!
