The food was excellent, the aperol was well mixed, the atmosphere was great. The service was nice, it took a little while to bring the bill, we were in a hurry to check out, but it's understandable because the restaurant was getting busy. Last night's dinner plans were for the Trastevere area just across the river from the city center. Bacco was recommended to us by someone in our hotel and it did not disappoint. We had an early dinner so we skipped the appetizer and jumped straight to the main courses. My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs and they were quite good with a mild but tasty pomodoro sauce and Romano pecorino. I was torn between the Wild Boar and the Guanciotto but the beef won out. This was a slow roasted chunk of beef cheek cooked in red wine with celery, carrots, and onions and a mashed potato pie. It was one of the best meals that I've had this trip! Service was great and the atmosphere was as expected for...
