Limited menu choice no wine) but beautiful food. Will return. Whilst Baity is usually busy when we pass it, on this occasion we were the only people there, making it an ambiance-free zone.

Really nice atmosphere and great vibe. The small plates are incredible, especially the kibbeh and the hummous. There are four main dishes to choose from, which makes it nice and simple. We tried two of them, the lamb maklouba and the musakhan and both were on point! Looking forward to trying the other two main dishes and some of the other small plates. Great staff and service. The appetizers were more impressive than the main course. The fish was tasty, but not exceptional, and I couldn't see why it had won awards. It did its job and filled me with enough flavors. I had expected it to be outstanding, but it didn't quite reach that level. The restaurant is a pleasant and charming establishment with attentive and friendly staff, making it worth a visit. I will try other dishes next time.

Nice layout and vibe. Friendly young staff. Very limited menu only one vegetarian dish, the Moussaka. This was vegetables on bread in an incredibly salty sumac sauce almost a challenge to finish is as it was so salty. Had plenty of Moussaka in my time and love Middle Eastern food but this was way too salty. We asked for a jug of water but were only given small glasses which we had to ask to be refilled several times during the meal. Also very expensive for what it was I've been to similar places that have similar food but far less salty and the main dishes are almost half the price. Might be much better for meat eaters, but for vegetarians I would not recommend.

I've been walking past Baity for a few months wanting to check it out and this was the first opportunity I had to do so. I love middle eastern food and this didn't disappoint, with some dishes new to me and not just the mezze style food with pitta bread that gets served up in so many similar establishments. There were several dishes here I hadn't had before full of unfamiliar and mouthwatering flavours. Particularly loved the Sumac Veggies starter. If I had a slight caveat it's that this isn't a plush posh nosh restaurant more of an arty cafe vibe going on. That's fine I'm up for that but I wondered if the lighting was a little bright and brittle which kind of ran counter to the delicacy of... Ver carta
