Great food, staff very efficient, excellent prices. Ate here three nights out of five nights in Berlin as it was so good. Highly recommended.

one of my favourites ever since I was a child. We ate here last month when I visited berlin to see my father and had a quick snack with him and my girlfriend. Everything is still as it was years ago. Fresh salads, nice sauces...and incredibly delicious meat, well prepared. Can recommend and will definitely come back.

First trip to Berlin - another berliner fast food treat. Basically gyro meat, salad, fries, spicy garlic sauce in a flatbread/mideast tortilla kinda wrap. The Berlin super burrito! Huge portion, great value, very tasty, fresh 'fast food'. Balli's is a take-away grill on Temelhofer Damm, no german, no problem, nice people. Ate this food several times during my week stay, this was the best. Note; I never tried Mustafa's Kebab, Berlin's best doner according to my local friends, as the wait was always 45 minutes plus, this place had no line. Really different, really tasty, really fast. They are grilling a giant skewer of meat here, at least 70 kilos, must be the biggest one in the world, never saw anything like this.Eat the DÜRÜM DÖNER, not Doner Kebab! It´s largest and best of all in Berlin. And I tasted really many. Eating one should feed you well until next breakfast.If they ask you which sauce, say "Kroyter" which means no garlic and "Scharf" which means hot, and for the rest just nod your head. Outside U-Bahn U 6 station ALT TEMPELHOF. You always have to cross the traffic lights as it is in the middle aisle of a huge crossroads. Don´t confuse it with the tiny place you might see first.

War am Montag dort, nach einem seeehr langen Tag hatten ich und meine Frau einfach Lust auf einen Burger. Kein Problem Balli Burger hat ja bis 2330 geöffnet...angeblich. Voller Vorfreude in den Laden rein, ja die Tür war offen, begrüßte ich den fleißig rotierenden Mitarbeiter. Seine Antwort war gleich Wir haben geschlossen , während er einen Burger zubereitet hat...Geschäftsmann vom Feinsten, wer schickt bitte einen zahlungsbereiten Kunden nach Hause (wenn ohnehin offenbar geöffnet ist)? Vermutlich ein Angestellter, wenn ich raten müssten, der kein Bock hatte etwas länger zu arbeiten (ich spekulieren). Wäre man mir freundlich begegnet dann würde ich diese Rezension nicht schreiben aber sowas...

Dare I say that this place is better than Mustafa's? Don't get me wrong; Mustafa's is amazing but the line is always so long and there aren't many places to sit! So Balli's doesn't look like much from the outside (or inside either, to be honest), but it's a hidden gym? It's very close to the U Alt-Tempelhof station. Walk upstairs and it's kind of sandwiched in the middle of the road on an island/park. As you walk in, don't pay attention to the Chinese food counter. You're here for the Döner.More specifically, get the Durum Döner with extra Fleisch (meat). They make their own bread and hear it up for you in the oven.
