We often go to this restaurant always love their food. Specially 'kothu ' is one of the best dish I always order. Very friendly staff alter their menu according to our tastes.

Thy cant engage with clients needs or complain thy dont serve sambar n dont even tell until you reach home and realise no value for money no quality and paneer dosa is disaster.

This restaurant offers great value for money and has a good variety of dishes. When I visited, there were only a few people there, which made me unsure at first. However, once the food was served, I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent it was. The service was also very good. Ver carta

My family and I, having lived in india, often try out different indian restaurants and I have to say that this is one of the best -food wise- we have visited outside of india . The decor may put you off but please persevere as the food is amazing and so well priced. Staff were excellent and I can not fault a thing. Thank you x

We chose to dine at this restaurant because it was not very crowded and we were looking for a light meal. The atmosphere was lackluster with insufficient lighting, and the cutlery was not properly cleaned. The staff was inattentive and the food was served lukewarm. Overall, we felt that the service and food did not meet our expectations for the price we paid.

We ate in the banana leaf when it first opened and it was great in every aspect, we went back 2 weeks ago with friends and it was a waste of money! It is obviously unloved and no effort made on service. The guy working there was on the phone whilst taking orders, tables and cutlery were dirty, no atmosphere whatsoever. When it opened as one of the few South Indian restaurant there was lot of optimism. Over the years it has changed hands (certainly cooks) and although the take aways orders keep coming, the sit in service is poor perhaps becuase they can't afford waiters. However the food is passable and be prepared for microwaved methu wada the only thing worth having I guess is Dosa which has to be hot! Go there only if there is no choice and a quick fillup the stomach

we ordered for takeaway, and by the time we got home and sat for dinner, we realised they have given us the wrong food. We ordered mutton kothu and we got seafood kothu. my husband called them and the manager has terrible customer service, asking us to come back and he will give us the right food. my husband explained that we live far out, and the manager got so rude was shouting down the phone and saying there was nothing he could do for us. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the décor is horrible, staff have no manners, and customer service is horrible. Waste of money and waste of time. The previous owners were wonderful and the chefs were excellent, shame about whoever has taken...

I've eaten at banana leaf many times and have ordered to my address a few times. First to say the food is really really nice and brilliant value for money. Now eating in absolute poor service. No one will come to take your order unless you call them. X amount of times they've messed up orders and written down the wrong orders. They bring the mains before the starters and at times do not bring some of the food you ask for. It takes ages and ages for them to bring the food out even when the place is dead and I mean literally no one dining. It's absolutely shocking service. I eat here as my family enjoys the food.
