Banana Surf Café Lacanau Plage

We used the café for breakfast and afternoon snacks, the kids enjoyed the free wifi and the view of the surfers and the ocean are fantastic

Chilled out place although busy. Great place for a drink after the beach or before dinner. Really relaxed and a great place to watch the sun go down.

We ended our day with a great dinner and a few beers. A lot of burgers and drinks available to order. The service is allright, but no more than that. The waiters don't speak English very well and you have to ask them to come and take down the drinks.

What to say ? The combination of surf shop and bar and restaurant ( basic stuff) .. What do you need more? And last but not least ... These people are really nice ! Something a lot of the 'top' venues here seem to have forgotten Keep on rolling Ps what a view! Ocean sun set first row !!!!!

Friendly staff, and great food.Had the opportunity to come with my wife and baby, had fish & chips, it tastes really good. Also came alone after an early surf session, i had breakfast and coffee, and worked on my computer all morning on the terrace, ordered an Aussie Breaky, very nice ! Staff really good. Ver carta

Absolutely delicious burgers with fresh ingredients and skin on chips. Cocktails, beer. Up to 10 euro for the most loaded burgers, other options too. Great view of the sea and friendly service. Still serving food at 2pm.Warning to English tourists - burgers cooked rare, which I personally love, but if you don't like it red then don't forget to specify bien cuit!

AUGUST 8 2017After a 10h exhausting journey to get from Paris to Lacanau Ocean we deserved to have a good breakfast to celebrate the beginning of our holidays And what a better place but the Banana Cafe !Very nice view of the sea in the morning .... streets still relatively quiet... service very good with smile... food excellent and original (chia porridge)Not too expensive: double espresso (*2), pancake plates (*2), banana milkshake, chia porridge, café latte, waffle, strawberry smoothie) for 40€

We went here at about 8pm and the place was packed. Delightedly we were seated very quickly and by a smiling waiter. Menus were produced and the offer of an aperitif quickly offered. Surprisingly the drinks arrived very quickly and order taken. We were expecting a long wait considering the amount of people in the place, but in around 20 minutes food arrived. There was plenty of it and exactly as expected, tasty and hot. You could see all the staff were working very hard and doing a good job. The only comment would be there only being one toilet, but as the restaurant has been extensively refurbished I'm sure more will be added. A good meal and well priced. Ver carta
