"A lovely little cafe/tea rooms with some of the most delicious cakes you could wish for. The Victoria sponge is one of the best I've eaten and has what Victoria Sponge should have; fresh cream aswell as jam and a light sponge. The staff are very polite and friendly and we have visited on four occasions now and never had a single issue. Coffee is very good and although the cafe is rather small its nicely decorated and we have always found a table without waiting."

We called for a sandwich for lunch and we were not disappointed. The Wiltshire ham was tasty and very plentiful! Great cuppa too!!

Went today for a surprise for my 60th birthday. I e had a lot of cake but can honestly say the raspberry and white chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend Ver carta

Our toddler was desperate for a wee while I was looking at the menu outside. They refused to let my wife bring him in to use the toilet. Who refuses a woman with a small child? Awful people.

Just the very best cakes, coffee and service. Outstanding. Cannot recommend a visit highly enough have visited virtually every day since lockdown so believe that says it all! Zoe you are wonderful.

Popped in here today for a brew and something to eat. Love the mis matched plates and cups. I ordered cheese on toast, lovely bread and cheese! Staff very friendly, the cakes looked amazing. Should of had a slice. Will be back! Ver carta

We (wife and I) came on the Friday before all the schools closed due to the pandemic. We've been a few times and enjoyed the meal. And this time was no different. Food was good, but due to the pandemic, it was unsurprisingly quiet.However, it was cold and we were sat by the heater. Staff were pleasant, but again unsurprisingly anxious.Once this situation is over, make sure you visit, as you won't be disappointed.

Zoe at the Bandstand tea rooms has made 170 scones for our Church over the last 2 weeks. We had scones, cream and jam beautifully boxes for individuals , couples or families. Everyone was delighted with their box and throughly enjoyed the fresh scones. We were also able to have vegan cake, gluten free cake and diabetic jam for those who needed it. I can thoroughly recommend all of the cakes at the Bandstand as I have sampled them all!
