A nice and easy fish and chips, great service and very tasty food. We had grilled fish and a fish burger. Will come again for sure.

The fish was cooked from frozen, very watery when cut. For £16 fish and chips not good enough. You have to order peas separate, £2.95 for very bad peas. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely love the fish and chips. Light crispy thin batter and a nice portion of fish. This shop is an absolute gem. Every time we visit Brighton, we go here to eat. Must visit.

delicious and fresh fish. large portions. friendly and attentive staff. the restaurant can be busy too time to ensure that they plan their visit well. their fries could be crater and fish should be accompanied by smeared heapses. restaurant interieur is really inconspicuous.

Food was really nice with lovely size fish,but unfortunately it was quiet but still had to wait over 25 minutes after ordering our meals. It seems like another eatery that gives priority to deliveroo and the likes rather than people who actually sit in to eat at the premises...

recommend this restaurant! their fish and chips are large and the portions are very generous. we had a cod and a squid from which both came with many chips that we could not finish. it is not expensive and the personal is friendly. definitiw will come back next time in brighton.

So happy with my experience here! We had the “green heroes” (meatless chicken goujons), chips and fish and chips and it was so good! It was so nice to have a good option as a vegetarian, and there was also the option of fishless fish too. The fish was apparently superb too, not too much batter and good size fish. Would definitely revisit.

We visited Bankers on 19th March and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the cod and chips and the jumbo sausage and chips as well as some sourdough bread and mushy peas for sides. Our food was amazing! We have been trying to go to this restaurant for a while and it really lived up to all our expectations. It's very bright on the inside we like how there was a separate part for eating in and taking away and the staff were very friendly. Definitely will be coming back ASAP to try the rest of the menu!
