"Four of us happened upon this charming place for lunch while spending the day in Modena. The food is delicious and has a contemporary edge and the plating is beautiful. I had the beef tartare which came with some friend shallots, a lovely house made mayonnaise golden with egg yolk and milky soft cheese of some kind delicious. My partner had the creamed cod which was served with olives, candied onions, and popcorn sounds a bit odd but in my book was the star dish of the meal perfect in every way. One of our friends had the pork cheeks on puréed celeriac the pork cheeks were so tender she cut them with a fork and declared them wonderful. Her husband at the assorted meats and it was beautiful and full of salami, prosciutto and mortadella perfect for a meat lover. Service was friendly and very helpful. We asked for a recommendation for a localish dry white wine. He recommended a bottle of Eugale Pagadebit a wine made with a rarely used grape. It was refreshing and complimented the food perfectly and very affordable at less than 20 euros. Great meal and I will definitely come back on my next trip to Modena."

Bar Mana' is a great place to stop for a bottle of wine and some nibbles, close to Piazza Grande and the Duomo. Thumbs up!

in the heart of modena, in a cross near the cathedral, there is the mana, informal place, well-kept and a beautiful dehor. excellent quality of cocktails, personally friendly with just smiles

Everyone is just so rude and in search of money! They would not let me seat just because I had not bought anything, even though my friends had. Moreover, a simple coffee costs 1.50 €. I'm not going there again.

We arrive late and they opened the kitchen for us ... Tortellini al Brodo and Spinach Lassagne to die for ... really really really great food .. later the bar got a lot of ambiance and people ... Incredible Place

I had a very good evening at Bar Mana in Modena this evening. I was eating alone and had a nice welcome from the front of house waiter and a delicious meal, beautifully cooked. Sadly leaving tomorrow otherwise I would certainly have gone there again.

Visiting Bar Mana for a short stop to get a cold drink, we were met by the friendly waiter, who took our order. There are only two beers on the card, one local Modena beer and one Brewdog (Kingpin). The Bar Mana offers seating both indoors and out, but has no restrooms. When our beer was served, we had both free chips and a variety of 3 4 different appertizers in fact a small meal all together. The Bar Mana has only a few small dishes (sandwiches and pizzabread) along with beer, wine, drinks and coffee. Prices are very resonable and the service very friendly. Absolutely worth a visit.
