"Whilst visiting Marseille for the Euro's I ate at Bar Bu twice.First time I had the 'Big Lebowski' which was a behemoth of a burger! Covered in a ladle of melted cheddar cheese, my eyes were certainly bigger then my belly.Second time I tried the 'Pavarotti' chicken burger, not as good but still very nice.Couple of down points though; they only have 1 menu which is written on a large chalk board which the waiting places on your table and is all in French, not so good if you don't speak French. However the waiters speak a little bit of English and can help.Some of the waiters are a bit blunt which can come across rude but I've found that with a lot of restaurants in France, maybe they don't like the English much???Definitely would go back again."

Absolutely worth it if you are out for a burger. Only disappointment they only had one red wine on glass. (But i guessnot really a place for wine...)

The burgers are really good and rare. But they are quite expensive. The manager is just looking for your money. He will force you to take cocktails or even dessert

Great quality of meat and delicious/creative combinations. Service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Couldn't have asked for a better lunch!

A good burger, well cooked, there is a large menu, perhaps more of the focus is on the toppings rather than the meat. Burger was cooked well, nice and pink in the middle. Nice location.

Small little place but has a good selection of burgers. Couldn't understand a thing on the menu but both my and my mate managed to choose well and the burgers were great. Cool little place and would visit again if I'm back in Marseille, hopefully in the summer next time.

Being in Marseille for a business trip, not so esay to find a restaurant within the inner city. If you want to enjoy tasty burgers with good wine, this is a place you can go. Decoration is fine and modern (metallic tables and chairs), staff is welcoming and helpful...Indeed, an enjoyable restaurant...

Typically English we were out to eat early! So if this happens to you and they say come back in 20 minutes...do go back! There is a young vibe here...cool metal/wooden tables and decor. The waiters were friendly and patient with our French and the service was sleek! We choose burgers which were cooked well and presented beautifully. The wine list is not long but we had an enjoyable red! We will definitely return!

Again so much choice in the area had to decide on a venue to have a bite to eat so picked Bar Bu. The food was well presented and tasty with a good choice of burgers, staff abrupt but polite, i think its the regions mannerism on a whole as we are seeing a trend in all the bars and restaurants. Toilets and bar area was clean to the eye with an unique set up of tables and chairs. Not the cheapest of meals but happy to leave a small tip.
