Japanese style Chinese food Everything here is about 30% less salty, spicy or oily than the Chinese equivalent.

The chef here goes for a restrained fusion style between japanese, french, and chinese that just does it for meAnything you try will be good.

Sometimes it is wonderful to ave a drink in the same hotel you are staying at- staff was friendly and obliging- served us drinks in the lobby one evening and the place is a bit dark for our liking but still worthwhile in a nice hotel.

This is a very nice bar in the Renaissance Paris Vendome hotel. Just off to the left as soon as you enter the hotel (before reception). It is quite small & intimate and offers comfortable seating in a nicely furnished (red velvet) space. The barman mixes good cocktails - a bit pricey though.

After many fine dinners on our trip, I just wanted a great cheeseburger, and this did not disappoint. The dark ambiance and well spaced tables were perfect. The wall of padded cloth keep the sound down. Would have been perfect except for the rock music, which did not appeal to this dinosaur. Ver carta

We arrived late in Paris from a six hour train ride from Nice. It was pouring rain and all we wanted was a quick bite before a much needed rest. This tiny bar welcomed us with its lovely Chinese décor. Subtle jazz was soothing background music while we sipped our drinks. My husband had the Chicken Curry and I had the Penne Bolognese, both comfort food on this rainy Paris evening.

We were in Paris over Bastille Day. It was hot, humid, and most cafes were packed. We were staying at the Renaissance Paris Vendome, and walked back to the hotel around 2:45 PM after looking in vain for a table at nearby cafes. We were so glad we did. The Bar Chinois has good food, air conditioning, good views of the street, it was calm, quiet and cool. It was the perfect place to enjoy lunch in a very crowded city at a very busy time!

This is the bar in the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel. This small space appears principally designed for enjoying a drink, but also has a short menu. After a long day in the city and a late lunch, my wife and I decided to relax and have our last meal of the day in our hotel and try the Bar Chinois. We ordered a Ceasar salad and a hamburger. These simple dishes were extremely well prepared, and we also had a bottle of champagne. This combination provided everything we wanted. Service was very good. Prices were steep but not unexpectedly so. As a respite from the busyness of Paris, I recommend this bar for either a drink or a bite to eat. Ver carta
