Great local place with incredibly friendly service. Delicious food and was good value. I had a delicious pork dish. Would recommend!

At a time when some so-called restaurants offer nothing more than an assembly line of frozen, pre-packaged dishes in the back of the house, Le Bar du Jardin is a nice surprise. Plats du jour are made in house (you can tell) and the locals...pack the dining room on weekday lunches. Reservations are advisable.

We really loved this restaurant. Although you will sit right at the corner of a busy street, you will relax. The food is excellent, traditional French fare with a modern touch. The fish and mussels we had were super fresh. The portions are very well...sized, but it is still worth ordering a starter (e.g. salmon tartare) or dessert. Ver carta

We went to this restaurant times for dinner and each occasion was excellent. Great service with amazing food. The wait staff were really helpful and spoke English so we could have in depth conversations about what to eat and drink. The Magnifique Fish was...magnificent with salmon tartare with avocado. I loved the salad and cod fish I had one night. All the wines were good too. The deserts were scrumptious too. A wonderful, friendly restaurant well worth visiting.

Bar Jardin is a small restaurant, situated near to the public gardens across the street from the theatre which now occupies the space of the former station gare du midi). We ate there twice, a recommendation in itself and strongly recommend the plat de...jour (roast chicken) which is very reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and attentive and genuinely checked on the quality of our wine during our first meal, fearing that it was substandard. It was not, although the taste of the red Racine is unusual. We'd been travelling all day and welcomed the freshly prepared meal, cooked to order and served promptly. Good value, pleasant staff, well worth a short stroll from the centre of Biarritz.

On our first day in Biarritz we spotted this restaurant not far from our apartment and having looked around in the evening decided to give it a go. Both the waiter and the lady who helped with his English were friendly and helpful. A small...menu was supplemented by specials on the blackboard. We shared a mixed meat board, plenty for two and freshly sliced at the counter, served with good bread. I had the fish off the specials, sea bass fillet rolled and served on a light sauce with mixed vegetables including beans and peas. The porcetta was tender and served on a rich tomato sauce with lovely oily potatoes. The dessert was my favourite dish, described as a passion fruit creme brulle it was... Ver carta
