Barista - Carta

The coffee shop is near a playground and on the shore of Belfast Lough. Not over impressed by the coffee but plenty of other choices and some decent food choices

Stopped for coffee and a scone with my wife this morning and I have to say the Scone was very dry,to the extent that it crumbled to dust as I applied the butter.The coffee was fine.

I have my children for a today and regret to give this place, my money personal is not pleasant I saw the people differently charged for the same. 50ps only people will never go again Ver carta

we called to go to the park after school. they work at playpark and it was closed, so took an ice for the children and a coffee for me and went for a walk. it was really busy, but the girls were friendly and service was pretty fast. the toffee ice cream was delicious. we call back when the park opens again.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly rude, particularly an older lady who is lacking in customer service skills. I find this place to be of very low quality in every aspect, and I highly recommend staying away. Despite living just down the road, I have dined here twice and will never make that mistake again.

We called in when we were having an afternoon at the park with kids whilst off for Easter holidays. The place was absolutely packed, our coffee was good and brought out to is at a table outside in the sun. There was a long queue...for ice creams so we waited until the kids had finished playing at the park to get some. Unfortunately there was no honeycomb left but we had cookie dough and malteasers caramel instead, both nice but would have preferred honeycomb. Ver carta

Warm day, popped in for a quick ice cream. Some time later, I was sill standing there, waiting… waiting… the girl who was serving had a facial expression which… let’s say strongly implied that she doesn't like her job much. Every so often, while our...growing queue waited interminably, she would wander off for ages to try and get some change from elsewhere, as she clearly hadn’t been supplied with much. Or ice cream. It took about 20 minutes to get served; 18 of 20 ice cream containers were empty, so you could have rum raisin, or cookies cream. When I eventually got my tiny – sorry, “Medium” tub, I wandered down to the Lough Shore to enjoy it, but sadly that wasn’t possible either as it was...

I stopped by this restaurant for some tea and cake. I enjoyed the tea and cake, although the pot was on the smaller side. The staff accidentally dropped the stirring paddle on the table, which made me question the cleanliness. Despite a long queue for ice cream outside, there were two sections inside with little wait time for other items. You order and pay at the counter, then they bring your food to you. The staff were busy but efficient. I appreciated the bright and airy atmosphere with glass walls. However, I noticed a customer sneezing without covering their mouth and some uncovered food items in their line of fire. The chairs were comfortable. The only downside was having to go outside...

I used to come to this restaurant regularly for years, but after today, I will not be returning. I have never been in a café where people are allowed to reserve tables while others are left standing with their food and drinks in hand. It's a total lack of consideration. Today, after purchasing food and drinks for my two young children, I was disgusted to find myself standing while others occupied tables, even though they hadn't ordered anything yet. I decided to temporarily use two empty seats for my children's safety, only to be verbally abused by another customer when they arrived with their order.
