A wonderful combination of pampering, excellent food country surroundings. The service is fabulous and very personal. The spa is amazing! Highly recommend a visit.

The staff were fantastic, the grounds are beautiful. The afternoon tea was ok, was a little disappointed with the cake selection. (Personal Choice) The service was faultless.

My husband and I stayed for one night for our 10th wedding anniversary. The place and staff were amazing. We came home very well fed, well rested and very relaxed. We would highly recommend it and we will be back!!

I wanted to book a 3 hour spa day for my daughter. She is due on 24 Feb. Her birthday is on 12 Feb. I asked if I could cancel and rearrange if she gave birth on or before 12 Feb and was told point blank No. It was for 3 hours at a cost of £270. Surely exceptions can and should be made on occasions. Not impressed

Blissful relaxation, heavenly food, magnificent on hand yet discreet staff, a haven in every possible measure. One can't help but feel transformed after a 24 hour visit to Barnsley House. It holds a special place in our hearts as it is where we were married but the return is just as much a treat as the very first time we set eyes on the place. Barnsley House- we love you!

Thank you for a most excellent stay at Barnsley House; it is a beautiful hotel with a wonderfully friendly team, and we had a perfect stay from start to finish. The atmosphere was delightful, our room was amazing, the food was delicious and your gin selection is the finest I've seen! The spa treatment I had was also top notch. We will definitely be back, and are already looking forward to it!

what a warm and friendly greeting we received at the arrival for our elders surprise the tired renewing. the whole day was perfect, the service was first class, the eating was delicious and the house and the scenery were from this world. my parents were blown away and had the perfect day at this great place. I would recommend it very much. Many thanks to the fact that they have brought us so short and feel so welcome.

We had the most relaxing stay in a beautiful suite The hotel and staff are first class and we were able to enjoy the spa on Sunday and Monday Our evening meal was included which was excellent We enjoyed staying in the cottage over Easter with our family but this was our first time in the hotel itself the staff remembered us and were very welcoming We would recommend this 5star experience in the beautiful Cotswolds and look forward to our next visit

We’ve stayed at Barnsley House a few times now and everytime we have the most relaxing and lovely experience. It’s our all time favourite place to visit so made sure it was the first place we supported and visited after lockdown. We have just arrived home after our first night away after lockdown for my partners birthday and we feel so relaxed after yet again the most peaceful and perfect night away at Barnsley House. We have tried several of their different rooms now and highly recommend their stable suites. They have worked so hard on implementing lots of new normals into their house to line up with the new government covid rules and have done it very well indeed including providing spare...
