"Liebevoll angerichtete Antipastiplatte mit extra gereichtem sauer eingelegten Gemüseund mit Kräutern verfeinerter Pfeffer..Dann gab es Braten mit einer Sauce ' zum Reinlegen' und zum krönenden Abschluss Nusseis mit selbstgemachtem Nusslikör..Dann ging es den gut beleuchteten Weg zurück nach Caslano.Wir erklimmen den Berg heute nochmal um in diesem entzückenden Grotti zu speisen."

"The restaurant is strong, strong, strong, I swear to God, there is something amazing about the food, clean and the same cooking. They have amazing Indian food in its original form. I ordered it. 2 biryani, one masala, and a chicken curry with bread and 3 cola. My account is 160 francs, very expensive, but to be honest, there is no loss in the amount because it is something amazing. It has the food. The best Indian restaurant in all of Europe, and the view is beautiful. Its place is high in the mountain, with the lake beneath it"

"In the mountains around Lago di Lugano (and Como, to a lesser extent) there are grottos, which are deep holes into the earth, that have 60-ish degree air coming out. This makes a refreshing atmosphere in summer, when a few local restaurants operate around the grotto openings. (In the winter, the air is still the same temperature, so it feels warm.) A lot of grottos have been used as wine cellars for centuries, because of their constant, complimentary temperatures.This grotto is a favorite with locals, they serve only the types of food locals eat. Excellent quality food, Well prepared from traditional recipes. But a limited menu. It's about five minutes from the city by car. Plenty of free parking. Communal seating at long tables. Fair prices."

"Schöne Gartenterasse. Der See ist durch einen Garten ersichtlich. Leider wurden wir weder beim Eintreten ins Lokal noch bei der Menukartenübergabe an Tisch begrüsst. Und dies von zwei verschiedenen Personen. Zwei Teller mussten retourniert werden, da diese ziemlich schmutzig waren und bei der Kontrolle hätte ersichtlich sein müssen. Das Essen war schön abgerichtet und auch fein. Das doppelte Bruschetta 8 kleine Brötchen mit verwelktem braunen Salat! war für 20.— doch ziemlich überteuert. Hoffe der Vorspeisensalat sieht nicht so aus. Das letzte Mal schwärmten wir sehr, heute waren wir enttäuscht."
